lol the v12 is still a concept it has 498 hp diesel. but it still has a regualar a4 earbox so it has half the tourque or would break the gear box. audi haven't aranged funding for the new gear box design to start as it is gonna cost so much.....i got the latest top gear magazine it has an article on it. it looks so much meaner than this thing. p.s that is a standard r8 the new rs8 has the gallardo v10 init producing 480bhp.

the S4 engine isn't in the regular R8...theee 420hp 32 valve V8 from the RS4 is.

I think this car has the 12 cylinder diesel. The body is not the show body, but they're putting that 12cylinder into production reasonably soon, so I can understand why they'd be testing it pretty thoroughly

I was just at the Toronto Auto Show and Audi had a great policy of having all of their cars unlocked....even the R8. There was a lineup of about 25 people waiting to sit behind the wheel. It was easily the most popular car at the show.

well, it is an R8, only with a 5.2L V10. Seems to me the wheel base is lengthen abit due to the 2 cylinder longer engine.
