Googled it like you said. There certainly are numberous Catholic churches named "Lady of the Lake". However, I don't know if that name has anything to do with the "Lady of the Lake" of Arthurian legend. More likely these churches are located near lakes and are named for that.

Theres a myth about a blueeyed girl committing suicide in that lake called Blausee (Blue Lake).
The statue was built 1998 and was inspired by this.
