The FDNY somehow would only use Motorola and the radios were replaced. But they replaced them with new Motorola radios.
The reason why 343 Fireman lost their lives on 9-11 is because they never got the call to get out of the building.

Are they seriously claiming that first responders wouldn't have entered the building if there was no EOC in there? That's what I got around 4:30. Wow. That's my only comment about that. lol.. just wondering.. why they hell do you ppl care where he put the command center?.. soo he supposedly choose a wrong spot in which to setup a command center, i dont understand how that gives ppl the right to bash him for it. no spot in the city is extrmely safe.. while back there was another massive terror plot to inginte the fuel lines linked to jfk.. that would have obliterated southern queens and parts of brooklyn.. so no spot is absoluty safe.

Nothing in life is absolutely anything. Its all about making the BEST decision. The Twin Towers were one of the top targets in the city. What Rudy did was the equivalent of taping your spare house key to your doorknob.
