This anime was the BEST I have ever seen. Good story, great characters, and AWESOME soundtrack. If you all get a chance, you should read the novel. The second book is a really interesting story that takes place after Balsa returns to Kanbal.
If they could make a second season as well as they did the first that would be awesome. This is probably my favorite anime, would love another one about her return to Kanbal.

Read Moribito II: Guardian of the Darkness. It continues the story and deals with Balsa's journey in Kanbal.
