@StUFf798 Having Dread be another Prime sequel would be ridiculous, if you think about it. I mean, Metroid Prime(Dark Samus) was destroyed in Prime 3, along with the Phazon. By that point there would be no need for another prime game.

And for those wondering about Sylux stalking Samus after Prime 3, I believe it has something to do with Prime: Hunters. all of the holes in the series have been filled now, thanks to OtherM.

I don't like when they release games for portable consoles - GameBoy, Advance, DS - because few people have these consoles. That's why many people don't know Metroid 2 (my favourite), Fusion, Zero Mission, Pinball and Prime Hunters, all for portable. Most players have only non-portable consoles - Nintendo, Super Nintendo, GameCube, Wii -, that's why Metroid 1, Super, Prime Trilogy and Other M are more famous.

I hope from now they ONLY release Metroid games for non-portable consoles.

a reporter went to retro studios recently but for him to get in he had to sign a paper saying he wouldn't reveal any information about their new project. i guessing that could be dread or some other metroid game(not other m). there is an article about it which can be reached though the metroid database. i think the same reporter claimed that the ship is sylux. he doesn't say whether retro confirmed it or not. go read it yourselves
