  • Thanks! I grew up in Shelton and always have appreciated it as the best place to be brought up! I visit from Florida at least 4 times a year and still consider it my home. There were only a few a few pictures I didn't recognize...but most are great memories. Great job!

  • What makes historians distinguished? History is written by criminals who hold hostage resources of earth, thus regulate food/water supplies to which installation of false economical and religious belief systems are born. For so long as man has dominated land, he has done so at the cost of murder and theft. And this is clearly seen in the nations activities aboard. Consider non fluff and write something people can use. The world is in ruin, but hey, you're distinguished, that's all that matters.

  • Great historic photos and postcards of Shelton in the good 'ole days. I would love to do one on Trumbull. I love the composition of this presentation and love the music, Small Town, and Changes by David Bowie! I grew up on this music!

  • Thank you! I appreciate the positive comments from such a distinguished historian and author of "Phantom Train". I hope you get around to making a Trumbull presentation so we can all enjoy our shared local Connecticut history. I have contributed YouTube postcard series for Shelton, Derby, Bridgeport, and Ansonia, but there is so much interesting history to cover and wish more people would add their older photos of their home towns on YouTube too. Keep up the great work, and thanks again.... Ian
