  • This is sad... $1,100 could have purchased much more food! Hungry people need more than a bite of fish egg. Maybe they were just to greedy to give up the money instead of the caviar. I understand it was about the experience BUT what happens AFTER the experience, will they get more caviar??? NO, they will still be homeless and hungry reminds me of Marie Antonette "Let them eat cake" but in this case caviar. Really, really, really sad!

  • The government needs to shut down all these socialist soup kitchens now. If people want to eat they can work for it. Why should our taxes be paying for their lazy asses to stay home all day, smoking weed and playing XBox while masturbating to gay Asian porn and calling Planned Parenthood to book another abortion next week? Get a job, people! Food isn't supposed to be free, you have to work for it. If America doesn't get rid of these Satanic soup kitchens soon we will become a Soviet state.

  • @HomleandSecurity yeah i agre only if donald ragen were still alibve

  • @chafenhimer Yeah, Reagan would tear the soup kitchens down with his bare hands just like he tore down the Berlin Wall. If you're not rich in America you only have one person to blame: yourself!

  • @HomleandSecurity hell yeah, he tore down the berlin wall just like bush shot osama

  • @chafenhimer Bush took out Osama, now he just needs to take out the other Hussein.

  • @HomleandSecurity Hello, I am an unemployed Army veteran, I have a B.S. in business, an M.B.A. and I am working towards a Doctorate in Business. I AM NOT LAZY! I search EVERYDAY for a job and wouldn't dare turn my nose up at ANYONE because unless YOU have a trust fund you might one day be at the mercy of a soup kitchen. Homeland Security my ass! I respect your right to your opinion just be thankful to people like me who make it possible for you to have the freedom to speak your mind. GOD bless!!

  • @tracyrscott You did nothing to protect my freedom. I fought for it myself.

Army? Aren't Ready for Marines Yet.

I'm a vet, I have a job and I'm rich. You only have yourself to blame.

  • Wow.....

  • did anyone else hear what she said that 1:45

corporate greed caused them to be homeless?

you take a nice story like someone giving and people who my never have a chance to try caviar, into a chance to blame corporate america.

that's why i don't like the media anymore

  • is this the onion???

  • @Mtn86 retard

  • That goes for killers and junkies too

  • To everyone being ignorant... These are people too. People that have had it rough. They need help.. How dare you call them bums or child molesters or killers. Because, child molesters also live in mansions and have a lot of money. They may even be your doctor or lawyer and etc... Don't judge..just help someone in need

  • ahahaha bums

  • The bums sell thier food stamps for drugs and then go to soup kitchens. If they had a system with the food stamps where you could only go too one store all the bums would be screwed!!

  • I make 300,000 a year and go to soup kitchens to laugh at people ahhahaha

  • @ilovemesomechicken that's awful, your an awful person. How can you say something so disrespectful to people? They struggle to eat, something your egotistical self would never understand. and yet you sit at your computer reading this thinking that what I'm telling you is stupid. but if you look around you lived a nice life. Yes they could have chosen to do something about their life before but it cannot be changed now. I hope for your sake you will have the decency to accept what I am saying.

  • @TheSwagfulIndian Some of those people are child molesters and killers. Junkies and thieves. I laugh at them as they laugh at those they hurt

  • I laugh at the ones with the blackberrys and iphones. NY shelters have shit load of people using the system.

  • No wonder the homeless people in America are so fat~ Fat bumpy Americans simply dunno nothing about what poverty really is unless they were living in India or China.

  • @stephentsang2000 are you kidding me? I am Indian. My parents knew what it was like to live a poor life in India. You know nothing of what it is like. How do I know? Your on a computer complaining about stereotypes of Americans. Don't ever disrespect a country when you don't live, work, or were born their. I don't know what country your from. but IN AMERICA we give people respect.

  • @TheSwagfulIndian Your parents knew what is was like to be poor, but not you. Seems you are a suitable candidate to become the next generation of fat bumpy dukes in America.

  • @stephentsang2000 Fat bumpy Americans? I am the one of best soccer players for the school. and I love to play soccer. barely anyone in my school is overweight. and no one in my school is obese. I think using stereotypes on us is just making you look like a racist ass.

  • so horrible such a cute girl and mother gone trhough domestic violence, and the women in the beginning homeless. I sometimes feel bad about not eating my whole lunch because " i don't like it" I'm fortunate enough to eat three meals a day, sleep in the warmth/ air conditioned house, and watch t.v. and play video games. but these people get hope eating this caviar but then I feel bad for them because it's the best they might ever get :,(

  • Why is it not 'Five Star Soup Kitchen'?

  • bah.. now i feel bad about never eating my caviar

  • how does caviar taste?never tried but always wanted to and are they all so expensive?

  • what if the caviar was poisoned?

    everybody wouldve died hehe

  • wtf??? im all for giving people something to eat and whatever but seriously americans dont know how to eat!!!! why would you ruin the creamy amazing caviar with egg yolks, whites, etc... seriously the days the americans can find something flavourfull without it being covered in cream, garlic or onions...well ill just take it as a message for the end of the world!!

PS people who disagree are either american or ignorant about food

  • @wasabigirl95 it was just his way of stretching it out so everyone could have a taste, duhh.

  • It's not about selling the caviar for a larger quantity of food, those people are given the same old food everyday. The expirience was probably worth it.

  • Bad caviar = good tax deduction ?

  • Even though it would be logical for the soup kitchen to have sold the caviar, but the experience I think is more important in life. Money comes and goes, but these experiences only happen rarely.

  • shouloda bought those people $1100 worth of mcdicks, woulda been much happier

  • Those are a FAT bilinis!

  • 1100 for fish eggs!!! life in america is a scam!!

  • no offense but. yuck! i hate caviar :(

  • i wana personally thank the people who donate food every year at these soup kitchens. many of these ppl have no family or friends and although it breaks my heart to see these people struggle in these tough economic times we live in, im also grateful that we have wonderful citizens who are willing to help those in need.

  • the chef slipped the caviar everywhere. Everybit counts! They should have bloody sold the caviar to someone who liked it and used the $1100 to buy allota food for everyone!! what a waste.

  • @golfguyuk I completely agree.

  • @golfguyuk if the person wanted the soup kitchen to have money they would have donated money rather than caviar. Its like well, "O here is a cow, we could have just given you beef instead, but we will give you a cow instead and you have to kill it." It the thought that counts you jackwagon,

  • @Bored339649

not sure what a jackwagon is. I am not belittling donations. Donations are always great. It is the idea of people consuming caviar when it doesn't mean anything to them. The soup kitchen should have sold the caviar to another shop and taken the money to buy proper healthy food. Given the choice would a homeless person rather have $500 of caviar (one very small glass jar) or $500 worth of meat (two very big cows? maybe). Does that help you understand the point I am making.

  • @golfguyuk Its like you giving a gift to someone only to have that gift sold to another person, why ? Because they said they wanted cash instead. Thats insulting to the person that bought the gift and the person that sold it as well. Thats pretty much saying " Im too good for your gift and Id rather take money". Granted you could do more things with money than the gift you received, but its the thought that counts. Im Pretty sure those that had the chance to try it for free would be fine

  • @Bored339649

Ok! you win the argument. When you reach 23 years old, come back and read the comment you just made.

  • @golfguyuk how would that even change anything ? Im pointing out what I see from this video, calm ur Britches.

  • @golfguyuk It's surpassingly rude to sell a gift, and the reporter even addressed that matter towards the end... It wasn't the idea of having a lot of food, it was the experience of feeling luxurious for the first time in their miserable lives.

I don't know about you, but if I had been poor all of my life, I'd certainly prefer a nice caviar blini over two or so cheap sandwiches.

  • @golfguyuk why would they waste time selling it? just giving it to starving people is better.

  • @golfguyuk wouldnt that be neglecting the person who donated the caviar? thats like saying oh fuck your present i hate it in front of them.

  • @golfguyuk what for? not everything is about money. at least they tasted the caviar=)

  • "I felt like a princess"

    omg that breaks my heart....

  • @leoamar4385896 I admit it. I just cried a tear when I saw that part.

  • for real.... caviar!!!!

  • The beauty of giving gives people hope and love, to know that someone cares!

hunger is not a beautiful thing to experience): no body should go hungry.
