I thought she did an excellent job. This song is very emotional, and trying to sing whilst keeping your emotions in check is hard.

If she did what you say, and did it the way YOU would have thought it would have been to the full potential, then it would have ruined the meaning of it, and made it another mainstream pop ballad.

She did the best thing she could. She sang her own song with her heart, and not her voice. And that is a beautiful thing.
