  • holy shit you guy s have a lot of vids

  • Hahaha

  • This video should've been titled "Forrest Gump's rifle reviews: Life's like uh-uh-uh-uh-uh a box of ammo."

  • Nice vid im 13 and it helped me out

  • buddy learn to talk and your completely wrong, 300 win mag is the same size bullet as a 30-06 but rather has a larger casing and pwder charge, maybe also diferentiate between 7mm rem mag vs 7mm weatherby mag which is much more powerful comparable to 300 win mag. tips for your brain.!

  • you;re from texas? how come you have a such clean accent.

quick question, are those remington hunting rifles accurate enough for military style long range target practice?

  • @billyboy8888 His accent is like yours and mine because not everywhere in Texas do they have the twang in their speech. You find that twang mainly in more South Eastern parts of the USA.

  • I have a deer rifle, but Im going to go elk hunting next year and the years after that, what would be a good all around elk/mule deer/black bear gun?

  • @lukethetwit 7mm. cant go wrong

  • lol learn to talk you dumb american ...stutter some more lmao

  • Is a 308 a good deer rifle

  • @deerhuntingzach ya its like a 30 06

  • i live in a state with lots of shotgun only county for hunting dear, could you do a video to help me shop for one?

  • Get a freaking script.

  • I use a chainsaw

  • if you want less "knock down power", (energy) don't buy a smaller caliber, use a lighter bullet. this will also give you a flatter trajectory even though the calibers you discussed shoot reasonably close within 300 yards anyway

  • stuttering stanley!!!stuttering stanley!!!!this city boy def needs to get layed

  • mosin nagant 7.62 by 54r

  • cz s1 m1 750 .308 will make the two guns you propose look very silly 155 gr

100 yrds to 1000yrds, good luck

  • So i had my first kill yesterday and Idk why but i kinda feel bad. I shot her in the lungs it was a instant kill but has anyone ever felt bad after a kill?

  • nice shirt by the way, where did u get it?

  • i own both a 30-06 and a 7mm mag.... love them both although the 7mm and its 24" barrel make it heavy . used to use them for deer but its overkill .

now all i use is .243 winchester. and it seems to actuly have more knockdown power just from looking at the grape fruit size exit wounds it produces,

my 30-06 and 7mm mag exit wounds are more like ping pong ball size. they IMO they have too much speed at the ranges i normally get deer- 50-150 yards and too dense for deer.

  • @1a2b3cdf3 u saved me alot for wat rifle i might get and have u ever shot ballistic tips in ur 7mm on a deer ?

  • U prefer the weatherby .308. Plenty of knock down power and very accurate! I recommend using Remington core lock rounds!

  • Went hunting with my dad once, killed deers with pointy stick/spears.

  • yeah yeah theres alot of good rifles but i like me 50. cal rifle

  • what about a 222 rem

  • tttttt today jr

  • what about a .280

  • u look like tom hanks

  • IMO a 7MM Remington Magnum and a 160 accubond. Deadly on muleys at long range.

  • @dvallery1988 i dont know if you know what your talking about either? While the 30-06 and the .270 share the same casing the bullet weights are totally different and the trajectory are is totally different. The heaviest bullet u can get in a .270 is 150 grain where as a 30-06 you can get up to 220 grain. If u had the same weight of bullet the trajectory might be similar but ussually the .270 shoots alot flatter at distance but doesnt have the stopping power of the 30-06.

  • 30-06 and .308 drop way too much for my liking the 30-06 drops over 10 inches more than the 270 at 300 yards.

  • @hoam26973 I'm not sure what you're comparing there, but a Hornady 130 gr. Interbond zeroed at 200 yards will drop 5.7 inches in the .270 at 300 yds, while a 150 grain .30-06 Hornady Interbond zeroed at 200 will drop 6.4 inches at 300 yds. There's no practical diff. between the two in trajectory when comparing like bullets (you need to look at the 130 gr. in .270 and the 150 gr. in .30-06 to compare apples to apples) with like zeroes. Check Hornady's ballistics tables if you don't believe me.

  • nervous? ;-)

  • Stttuuuddderrr

  • @matthewnys that is FUNNNNNEY

  • lol this guy can't talk

  • Should have used a Hunting bow or a .50 cal but whtever

  • bbbbbb....dddddd.....scatman.3 minutes 5 sentences

  • Belive it or not I still use a 1903 springfield to take deer with.

    Iron sight's .

    Never needed anything else.

  • can you also use a crossbow?

  • can you also use a crossbow? it's much cheaper

  • It's all about Bullet placement YOU DO Not NEED a 7mm magnum a .223 .243 .308 with a well placed shot behind the ear will drop even the biggest deer in it's Tracks.

  • @vince38curious2 but to be on the safe side you must pick a caliber that can still get a decent kill with a lung shot.

and its usually advised not to go for the head. lots of chances to miss or you could (rarely happens) hit its jaw or something.

  • @waseem1173 OK that seems fair, The types of deer we have here in Australia are Sambar, Rusa, Chital, Hog Deer, Red Deer, Fallow Deer. Although I would add that not all hunters Take LONG 300 yard plus shots. You Should be able to stalk to within 200 yards or less If you are quiet and move in from with the wind coming at you away from the deer in question. At that Range a Steady well aimed shot from a .223 will Do the job Nice and clean even with a heart lung shot. Using 55gr-80gr JHP ammo.

  • Dragunov using 7.62x54sp

  • I need a gun big enough for elk but I can also use for deer. What caliber should I get?

  • @lukethetwit...I'd go for a 280 Remington or a 7mm but they are just preferences. Other choices would be. 308, 30/06, 300 mag. 30/06 is a great choice because you can find ammo pretty much anywhere.

  • spit it out bro

  • nice gator

  • for white tails i'll use a .243 or .270. If all i was doing was deer hunting i would stay away from 30-06, .300win mag, 308,etc. For long range deer I think the .270 has the advantage over the .308

  • @Tbone9722 they made the 308 a sniper rifle for a reason.. pure range and accuracy...

  • @OutdoorsLifeNC not that flat shooting..... at all

  • @Tbone9722 exactly 100% agree i shoot a 25-06 which is a necked down .270 and i have dropped large bucks where they stand out to 450 yards i am not afraid to go after moose or elk with the same caliber who needs a 30-06? especially for deer

  • a 270. will get the job done on most big game. all you need is winchester ballistic silver tips and your fine.

  • i went sniper rifle im japanese

  • your a terrible shot if you need bipods on your gun for deer hunting

  • @TheDuckaholic umm thats kinda an understatement. the best shooters in the WORLD use bipods on all their deer rifles. just cuz ur a good shot doesnt meen u cant use alittle more stability.

  • @TheDuckaholic id like to see you make a 500 yard shot free hand

  • your a terrible shot if you need bipods on your gun

  • amamamamama forforforforfor dude awwawwawwaww

  • i personally whitetail hunt with a Remington 700 in .270 WIN with 135 grain sierra grand slams. just my preference

  • is the 7 mm mag not more powerful then the 30/6

  • 308 i agree

  • Simply when it comes to deer hunting bigger isn't always better

  • 460 weatherby mag enough said

  • .270 is better But 30-30 & a .308 Are Good Jus Not As Good As the 30-06

  • 270 is superior to the 30-06 in my opinion.

    A 150 gr bullet from a 270 has a better ballistic coefficient than a 150 gr bullet in a 30-06.

  • @pittsky i just shot my first deer with a .270 he went strait down

  • just saying you said uuuu alot and studered a lot

  • @barrellauncher155

Not the best speaker. Sounded relatively unpracticed anyway.

  • I bought my first deer hunting rifle this year, the salesperson gave a little presentation of both the .270 and the 30-06. Same cost, same rifle (marlin) different calibers. I went with the 30-06 and it's doing fine. In the future I can hunt bigger game I guess.you really can't go wrong with either (how can I say that since I have only shot with my 30-06? I don't know I am just sayin)

  • There's way more choices than this for deer rifles, I shall not extol the virtues of certain brands/calibers just say there's other fine choices out there.

  • This guy has some major speach problems.

  • wath a fk

  • i say spray and pray lol

  • @allhunting hahahahahahahahahahaahahahahaa

  • the 270 will put down anything the 30-06 will and in some purposes its better

  • the 270 will put down anything the 30-06 will and in some purposes its better

  • Hornady LEVERevolution Ammunition160 Grain Flex Tip, Marlin 30-30, Barska 3-12x50 Scope works for me.

  • @CANMeRcYFuLFaTe same setup for me, except I still use the stock scope that came with the gun haha and it works absolutely fine. 30-30 is a great deer cartridge.

  • Which rifle is the best for mule deer and other big game

  • ive tried 7mag 7short mag 30-06 308 and 270 but the only rifle for me is 30-30

  • M1-Carbine..(too small) too many deers in Vietnam..I don't hear in your list!!!

  • This corns special isnt it?

  • Are there any versions of these vidoes that does not have the captions?

  • really? many people in WYOMING here hunt elk and mule deer with a .270 all the time, oh ya that is what I use.. and It would drop a buff...

  • Are you telling me a 30-06 has drop off at 200yds? I see little drop at 300 yds, am I mistaken?? I am interested and trying a 7mm this year. I have been checking several out. I am leaning to the 7mm accustock by savage arms. Any thought's would be appreciated.

  • @xtaxplayer If u sight tha 30-06 in 11/2 high at a hundredyds at 200yds will be dead on.At 300yds it will drop 9in and at 400yds it will drop 26.4in this is with a 180 grain bullet. The 7mm 1.5 high at a 100 dead on at 200yds and 6.7in low at 300yds and 19.9in low at 400yds.Hope this will help u out but stick to tha 30-06 all high powered rifles are compared to it.......

  • @bigt1976ful Thanks for the insight!! Good hunting!

  • um um um um um um....no ofense but he needs to work on his public speaking skills

  • I need to buy a rifle for deer hunting but I don't know what I should get.

my friend has a savage 111, 30-06 that he was selling. is that a gun worth getting? or what is a good one?

  • @Brandonsr20 Buy a .50 caliber rifle.I recommend you Barret company.

    I would buy bolt-action M95.

  • the 300 is overkill

  • @TheDuckaholic The only problem I have when hunting whitetail with my .300 is the cost of ammo and it has a good bit of recoil. Other than that it is an awesome rifle and I have never missed any whitetail with that gun.People like to think that it makes a bigger whole in the animal and the truth is that it does not it is the same size lead bullet as the 30-30 and the .06 just with more powder for flater trajectory longer range and better accuracy.Overkill is always better than wounding underkill

  • whats better for killing rabbits .22 or a .308

  • nothing says i love you like 30-30

  • Killer!

  • What's up with the ugh uh oh u oo you talk weird

  • @malafa75 It's a amature video, not a news report

  • would anyone recommend a henry lever action for hunting deer?

  • Ha,ha,ha... dude sounds like " Elmer Fud" aaaa...

  • This guy doesn't know shit. Don't do what he says; find a real expert.

  • That was really helpful - I will go hunting for the first time in December and I'm going to go with the 30/6. Thanks

  • @selimsucram The .06 is an awesome choice I actually hunt whitetail deer with a .300 win mag now. I started out with a 30-30 winchester and I think that is the best gun for a beginner, unless you can handle the .06 and not develop a flinch. It has more kick so some begginers might develop a flinch with the .06, but if you are good with it, it is a better all around choice because it is capable of taking down anything in north America and it has way longer rage and better accuracy than the 30-30

  • I like how people will comment on these videos with hate about hunting. Probably while eating some steak and chicken. Just makes me laugh

  • Remington model 700 caliber .308 winchester. All that needs to be said.

  • @TheQuillmaster agreed

  • @TheQuillmaster for what a lawsuit about a dangerous gun with many problems

  • @TheQuillmaster all thats needs to be said is wrong. weatherby vanguard 7mm rem mag. THATS all that needs to be said.

  • @TheQuillmaster They also need a tripod.

  • @VincentValentine39 you mean bipod

  • ahahaa, HAHAHAA, i love the fact that they added english sub-titles for an english video.. for those who just wanna mute this babbling bafoon.

  • @lexmark136 It's for DEAF people you hillbilly..LOL

jeez. It's a amature video, not a channel 5 news report with teleprompters

  • @luvUtube247 lol naw, I stand by my statement, it's for those who wanna mute this babbling idiot. we all know deaf people dont hunt.. it would be like a blind person going bowling! hahah

  • is this guy a retard?

  • i think my iq and speech dropped while watching this terrible video quit studdering

  • @carolinaboysc Speech is not a common ability. One thing is to speak. Another is to speak to a recording camera, knowing it will be viewed by some sort of public. That can and will cause some people to get nervous.

  • 300 mag and 30/06 use same projectile, it is the ammount of powder that makes it more powerful, you clearly do not know your stuff.

  • frieken stutter

  • Expert village sucks cock

  • learn how to talk right

  • that vid was the fukin worst iv ever watched he did not explain the rifles properly

  • ugh..ugh..umm..ummm..ughhh.....HaHa..

now seriosly, get a .308 and learn to shoot

(and not just from a bench!!!!!!!!!)

  • Pussy guns... I'd take my minigun mounted on a Jeep anyday

  • ill just keep my 308win..i no its good for anywhere from 25yds to 500yd

  • i wish this twat would learn how to speak, its all ers and ums for fuck sake, really hard work to listen to, tuned out at about 1 minute. couldn't stand anymore.

  • i fully agree lols...

  • this guy sounds like a retard.

  • Fuckin hell speak properly you retard

  • me... i prefer to use the FGM-148 Javelin. Sure it's expensive and originally designed as an anti-tank missile, but I found that it's onboard optics computer recognises deer just as easily as it recognises a Russian tank. The top-attack leaves a crater though. A true fire-and-forget device.

  • i prefer using the GAU-8/A Avenger gatling gun which fires 4200 30mm rounds in 1minute

  • @richie8811 100% agreed... you can use too an intercontinental ballistic missile with MIRV nuclear heads... in that way you can kill a lot of deers with one shot

  • Same

  • What happens if you don't live in Texas?

  • hey, in my opinion, he forgot about the almighty 308, one of my favorites, no matter what im hunting. but thats just my personal preference, not saying its the best, have a good one everyone :)

  • @hubertus1488 is a .308 with the 150 bullet to much for a 110 pound teen ? thanx

  • @hubertus1488 agreeed

  • @hubertus1488 i agree, the 308 is the best for hunting its accurate, good size bullet, and can go really far

  • What kind of skin is that behind you?

  • looks like alligator

  • when you go for hunting you must have a knife with you right ??

  • yeah because it's a secondary weapon

  • I dont know wher eyou are or wher eyou buy your guns but I have found .50 Cals for $5k and 500 rounds for $350.

  • personally i got with a .308. If you ask me its good enough for deer an can take down a moose.

  • its still no 30-06 sry man best gun ever if you ask me all the way back to the m1 grand

  • @steviej0289 sorry to disagree with you but the m1 grand is not the best gun ever, The 30-06 spring field is nice, the m1 is not that good of a gun, For example is reloading was not the best by any means, an jams... So i'll stick with my 308 KTHX BYE!

  • Ok man, your speach is killing me. Maybe you should do a couple tries before recording so you talk alot more smoothly

  • agreed... very annoying

  • @dongochu really 10,000 wow i had no idea they were so expensive cheers. :)

  • why dont people just use a .50 rifle? that would have plenty of knock down power and it has great range doesnt it? replies are welcome.

  • @TheWeeklyLawReports way to expensive and ive sen people mountain goat hunt with them it blows up the goat literally

  • it would blow a hole through a deer

  • @TheWeeklyLawReports because it would rip the deer to shreds! 50 cals on the whole are used by the army to stop vehicles. haha

  • plus...really..if you are deer hunting for meat unless you blow their brains out the meat will be ruined...

  • Everytime I hunt I have nothing but head shots, if you aim for anything else you dont deserve to pull the trigger. Use all the animal or leave the hunting to those of us who do.

  • then you know NOTHING bout hunting.....broadside vital shots are the best area to place shots...you dont use the vitals.....i mean you can aim for the head but its not the best area to shoot at...

  • Really b/c i neve rmiss a shot and I always use whole points. Now think about a deer head and being shot by the HP's it goes down, the brain stopps and no adrelin to ruin the meat. That the way that works for me and that how I do it. I dont like the taste of a deer that had aderline pumping throughout the body.

  • idc thats you...but dont say IF YOU DONT AIM FOR THE HEAD YOU DONT DESERVE TO PULL THE TRIGGER.....JUST BECAUSE YOU DO IT DOESNT MEAN TIS THE BEST WAY...AND REALLY ITS NOT THE BEST WAY...SO SHUTUP

  • brodside shots are for target hunters who just want to shoot stuff, head shots are for a true deer hunter. A head shot saves meat and time in the butchering. and also guarantees a clean kill. deer will drop like a bag of shit, and wont do nothin stupid. a brodside shot is what they teach you in school, a head shot is what you learn in the bush.

  • dude...your stupid.....yyou have to go to some sort of hunters education class to fucking get a damn certificate so you can buy your license...so stfu....your stupid

  • so what if you have to go to hunters ed, I have taken my CORE and PAL training. and are a 4th gen cattle farmer and butcher. I dont think i would qualify as stupid. on this subject anyway. look up richardson ranch on google is my familys.

  • @holyluke also a headshot is more humain and less painful and it just feels better

  • @holyluke Headshots leave way more room for error and it is just stupid and irrisponsible to take a headshot if you have a brodside shot. Blow off a whitetails jaw and you have a deer starving to death and dieing a horrible death. If you have a better shot do the animal and other hunters a favor man.Kill area on a broadside shot 10 inches and on a headshot maybe 5 inches. If you have the skill and confidence for all humane headshots fine, but don't spread that to beginners that do not have skill.

  • @efrey614 100% agree with you, it took me 5 years of shooting and hunting until I was comfortable with a head shot, now that all I do for one reason, more meat, yea I know that you only lose a minimal amount of meat when you shoot a deer but there's no chance of finding fragments in food later on, I did that once and it sucked.

  • @efrey614 yes you are true i have seen a blacktail with its jaw blown off drowning itself in a puddle tryin to get a drink. but that is because some dumbfuck screwd up and then dident go find the deer that was now his responsibility, I have tracked down every deer and every bear (except one got kinda scary and it was hit by a car not shot so i gtfo) that I have take a shot at, period. bad stuff happens because bad people make it happen.

  • 30 06 will go 300 yards without droping
