Good vid, I've seen an e-flite f-15 arf for sale for about 2 years locally in the box and always wondered what it would cost to get it going. It's a much older kit, before this generation of RTF edfs and "scale" details. I have no doubt though it will be an amazing flyer. Good choice going to 4S, it should be near ballistic hopefully.
wer do you put all of your planes and how many do you have? Also dose horizon/parkzone/eflight sent you these to do this? or do you buy all of them your self?
@eastcoast78 yes, you could use other hardware. The hardware I am showing in this video is the suggested 'high performance setup' for this plane. It is listed on the HH site and is a drop in fit for the plane. You could use other hardware, although, I have had nothing but bad luck with hardware from other companies. You could for sure use different batteries though, I ordered some more batteries for this plane, and they are coming from hobbyking - some 2650mah 4s 25c - 50c nano-tech batts.
@earthling1984 yea there battery's are pretty good.i just recently got 6 160mahs for the 4-Site for under 20 Bucks Shipped,and there Great.@ $1.69 a piece you cant beat that,where at my LHS the E-flight ones are going for $12.99.
Their ESC's are pretty good as well.But from what I've read there Motors are hit and miss,What HK lacks is good Quality Control.
