  • Kevin: Some advice: learn to 'anchor' your right hand. Youtube McCartney playing bass 'live' in concerts and see how he anchors his right hand at-near the bridge. He ALSO uses the ball of his hand (just beyond his wrist) as a 'mute' on his strings. You want to have control of your right hand, watch McCartney's right hand, where it is and what he does with it. Study his right hand.
