You can see the similarity in looks to the 'Balloon' Trams. This is due to the great man himself.... Walter Luff (Transport Manager 1933-1953), who specified the designs of both the Trams & Buses of the period.
its absolutely brill to see original footage of these great pieces of public transport , they will and are returning gradually , stuff the bus , get the tram .....
