Scouts will be one of the best times in your life, up in my town in queensland, we didn't have joeys, so i started in Cubs, soon as i was old enough to join, made it to Scouts, and then Venturers, but unfortunatly... all the leaders quit and we havent been able to find any since then. its a real shame, But to everyone thinking of joining scouts, you must do it, it will be one of the greatest events of your life with two big camps ive been to called, Jamboree which was amazing, time of my life,

I sorta wish they never changed the Uniform. One of the main pulls towards scouts for me was how smart the uniforms looked. Now we don't really compare internationally.

Its not a big deal really, but, I know a lot of Rovers didn't want the change either.

AAFC and Scouts have lots of similarities, and a couple of differences. The difference is that a Scout wouldnt post a comment like yours, mate.

I hope that you're not representative of the rest of your organisation (which my kids are also in) and that some day you get a handle on 'australian values'. You know, like the ones we learn about in Scouts.

I am an ex-ADFC member and I can tell you that you have disgraced the ADFC by making that derogatory comment. Go and read your code of conduct that you signed when you joined up and have a long hard think about yourself.

Scouts is a great youth organisation, which has alot to offer modern society. I am only sorry that we don't recognise it's value as much as King Edward VII did in 1908.
