So PETA is investigating hog farms when in fact, someone should be investigating PETA. They kill more animals than they save because the money they get from compassionate people trying to save the lives of animals goes to expensive advertising rather than towards actually finding homes for them. If you donate to PETA, chances are your money is going towards another ad that features women masturbating with vegetables.

Iv been working for the plant 3 years. There has been 4 times seaboard has been fined thousands of dollers for abusing pigs. Abuse with seaboard farms the plant range from pushing pigs into the co2 chamber, annoyting the pigs, makeing the pigs mad, co2 machine not working and letting out pigs that are still alive but unconciouse and killing them with a knife. They used to just let people stun the pigs then slit their throughts. Its much more humane now. This video is old.

this video seems really old. I live in liberal kansas and most of the seaboard pig farms are around us. Back in 2006 i went and applied for seaboard farms. When i went to see inside the farms i seen nothing that was anywhere near what this video is showing. Im not saying that they have done it in the past, because this video is evidence of that. These men were probly fired or wrote up, and the company has sence been fined over and over again. I know this because i work for the plant.

For Seaboard to be successful they must follow those three ideal. Beating hogs in the back with metal rods is unethical, it also will produce meat that is unusable and unfit for sale. Some of the most expensive cuts of meat are located in the back area. People think that these businesses dont care about the animals and just treat them horribly. That is not true. The company does research on how to produce the best meat, which is their ultimate goal. Research shows that meat quality decreases

This supposed video about Seaboard farms is absolutely not true. I was at Seaboard farms a month ago, it is located in Guymon, OK. Seaboard farms produces 17 thousand hogs a day. This large scale operation does not have the time or money to pay their "farm manager" to individually beat hogs with metal poles. Anyone with common sense understands that a large scale hog producer is focused on quality, economy, and safety.

I work for the Seaboard plant. I put the pigs into the gas chambern And we follow strict humane rules when dealing with the pigs. The government is watching us all the time. I guess on the farms the government is to lazy to go check out what is going on. Nothing like this happens at the plant.

I feel sick to my stomach that these pigs are not handled in a respectful manner. we seem to not appreciate food as much as we used to when food was not so plentiful.
