McCain's speech eclipsed Obamas and even Martin Luther Kings, he handled the protestors well because he is a gentlemen and honest man that will lead this country to the promised land. Palin also did a great speech and put Obama's community organizing self in line. What do community organizers do for this country anyway?

What speech did you watch? That was a horrible speech, droning on about himself instead of telling the US citizens what he would do for our great country as president.

I fear this man has no plan, just a platform of "I'm a war hero so elect me." I am in awe of the immense sacrifice he gave for us. He is a true hero. But that alone doesn't make him someone who can get us back on our feet.

Sorry, but I and everyone else need more. We need a plan to turn this country around.

Agreed. Watching McCains speech made me want to take a nap. McCain keeps reminding us of him bing a POW not how he will fix our country. Not my fault he crashed 5 Navy planes and got caught. No disrespect for our veterans, but being in vietnam does not make you eligible to be president, nor does it teach you how to "Win Wars".

Kinggerald05, if you don't know what community organizers do, why are you so quick to disparage them? They don't catch GOP attention because the beneficiaries of their services are poor inner-city minorities who lack the means to use the system to their benefit. The C.O's keep the lights on, water running, police on the beat and other essential services to keep those at the very bottom form the abyss. It ends up making the difference between Chicago and Calcutta.

@ih8tbush According to the WHO, (World Health Organization not the music group lol) the US has the highest quality healthcare in the world. But not the most "fair". Sure, Cuba has a lower Infant mortality rate, but I don't see boat loads of Americans paddling down to Cuba on rafts...

They are not against what troops do, technically. There is an innate problem with the oath of any solider/sailor/airman. "I will support the constitution of the united state AND obey the orders of those appointed over me". These individuals did their job, with honor I have no doubt. Now, as Veterans of the armed forces, they have regained the right (one which they probably admire more than most who have given up free speech and action) to protest the events which they are witnesses of. Its ok
