Great painting. I would like to see a better view of the thing you are using to steady the model. Is it custom made by you. It looks very interesting and seems to work very well.
@Costlyadditiction i know you didn't ask me, but when I use gray, it's so I can paint lighter colors without making them look too bright. It's hard to paint lighter colors on black primer. It's also easier to see details with grey. I use white and grey primers for my minis. mini.White makes the colors brighter and is my main color for about90% of my models but sometimes makes dark colors bright. but when I want a mini to be a little more realistic and still use thin paint, grey is my color.
@Costlyadditiction - I pick my primer based on the overall colour of the finished model. If its going to be a light colour I use grey or white. Blood angels get red, orks black or brown, skaven light brown, ogres dark brown, high elves light grey... etc. Any colour is fine, but you can save some time by picking one that helps you out.

@zet17000 - the video is at 4x speed, but I missed a couple parts, so probably about 5 hours of painting broken up over a few nights.

I primer most things black. When should I use the gray/lighter primer on models?
