  • AAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!

    -Oh my God,

what did they do to Fritz?!

  • I just watched the interview with Letterman, he's a bit of a twat.. being a complete asshole to Tarantino. Rove however, know's how to put on an entertaining interview!

  • the first Black Adder pronounced bastard the best

  • isnt tarantino's next venture about john brown?

  • BLOODY BASTARD

  • Tarentino sucks moose dick. working for the zionist israeli jew basterds that run hollywood on LIES & PROPAGANDA. Dirty lying bastards.

  • @ed11561 ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh those dirty lying bastards can buy you food man! Chill out. they will die as you! so what is the fucking problem?

  • @69bleu fuck off loser

  • Nothing's worse than an Australian with the same cocky speech pattern as American gossip anchors fromgayass shows like InsideEdition and E.T.

  • awesome

  • insightful questions rove

  • I love Quentin so much, but he should leave the backwards Kangol caps to Samuel L.

  • "QUENTERN TARERNTENER"

  • I want to watch a three hour movie with just Tarantino talking about movies.

  • when listing different ways to kill, he forgot "killed by a death proof car"

  • @yan008 - it's called a Kangol! See: Samuel L. Jackson

  • Tarantino is the best screenplay writer in the history of cinema. Thumbs up if you agree.

  • Stop leaving out Deathproof and it was ER with the shitty actress! GOD!

  • CHristoph Waltz was amazing in this movie. Quentin, keep em coming.

  • You bloody BAAAAHSTAAD.

  • 'Hey sam, can you teach me how to look cooler?'

'Sure, just wear one of my hats motherfucker!'

  • how about this for a challenge quentin:remake the girl from trieste!!!

  • what the fuck is he wearing on his head?

  • You know someone's a respected guy when they can walk into an interview wearing a hat like that and no one bats an eyelid.

  • nice job.! will watch this in web movie tube

  • quentins movies are so fucked up...AND I LOVE IT!!! :D

  • Wow, I never realized how much of spaz he is until I watched this...

  • Rove had a legendary show, I wish it had never ended. Used to watch it every week. I love Australian talk show hosts.

  • I love Quentin tarantinos work. So original and

    Epic. And at

    The same

    Time funny in many ways.:)

  • The interviewer really captured the vibe of QT and that translated into one of the best interviews I've ever seen till this day.

  • we'll be right back, with MOOORE :D

  • quentin for god

  • I just keep hoping he will drop a gem

  • haha thats so true, as if you would leave a calling card

  • Great interview, thanks for uploading!

  • The interviewer was SUPER enthusiastic at the end. Awesome.

  • Tarantino is one funny "basterd"!!

  • @MrBelgiumrulz I never realized until now that that is the way he spells bastard for the movie title.

  • he's a great interviewee

  • he missed out death proof

  • VB MATE!! :D

  • hehe I am Quentin

  • I recently watched the Emergency Room episode that Quentin directed and there's a scene where two women eat a pizza and chat about stuff. I bet the actress he's talking about is one of them.

  • anyone notice how in the ocean 11 movies brad pitt is constantly eating? Ironic that he starred in a movie directed by someone who says having a shitty actor stuff food in their face makes them a good actor

  • i hate the interviewer such a retard farmer

  • @TheMadrfakr he dude thats one of australia's finest and funniest comedians and interviewers in australias. have you ever interviewed a famous person, have been in movies, have a tv show. are you even australian. well shut up

  • @TheMadrfakr actually that's one of the best interviews Ive seen with QT, Rove wasn't an arrogant prick to him and spoke to him on the same level therefore he got a great interview out of it

  • I just love him. :)

  • Tarantino looks like he has a LOT of energy for some reason.

  • @chicopapass you're just lazy

  • @chicopapass i will counter that. everything BUT the basterds was good. the movie wasn't about the basterds, it was shosanna's movie through and through. you sort of couldn't edit the basterds out of it as they pretty much contribute to the end, but not by much. it's totally about shosanna from beginning to end.

  • @movieman2000 im not saying the bastards was the movie im just saying shosanna's part in it took forever and already made sense after the first time she mentions burning the theatre. but the other shosanna part were slow and boring and unneeded

  • @chicopapass well...i mean...she couldn't escape the jew hunter then we go to the basterds and then go back to her and she decides to blow the cinema up. the whole thing with frederick zoller had to happen for her to get to the conclusion of blowing the cinema up. it was a lot of work to get there i'll admit but things had to happen before blowing the cinema up. out of interest, are you a QT fan at all? it just seemed like a normal QT movie to me. not his best, but not awful either, just QT

  • @movieman2000 planning all they did was play that post it note on your head game in a bar for 1 full movie hour

  • Great editing in this interview, and good camera work to compliment. If you guys watch an interview with Quentin in his earlier days he was high as a kite off coke. His mind is out there, but it's the truth. Reality in front of the lens hasn't been any closer than what this man has produced. Only thing close is Steven Spielberg's war movies or Martin Scorsese's films. Good Fellas and The Departed. The Newest film Kick-Ass had Brad Pitt behind the camera. He is influenced 100% by QT. Nuff said.

  • Why does he use british phrases like "mucking about" or "taking the piss"?

  • @ntwiles Oh. Should have watched the whole video ha.

  • does anyone know what actress he is talking about?

  • I am a big U.S. history buff, and I am happy to hear QT would want to be John Brown. How awesome would a John Brown bio-pic be if it were directed and written by Quentin Tarantino?

  • I wish the narrator would have mentioned Death Proof at the opening. I love that film.

  • @Zeeboe It had good parts but I hated the ending.

  • @HaggardNaggar - The ending had the best car chase scene of all time!

  • @Zeeboe I wouldn't say of all time, but I as talking about the very end when they beat Kurt russell to death. Call me sexist but they would have busted their knuckles with how hard they were hitting him.

  • @HaggardNaggar - Who's to say they didn't hurt their fists? :-) Also remember they were bad-ass chicks, & it was a grindhouse film, & t was Stuntman Mike, not Kurt Russell. :-)

I am a huge Kurt Russell fan btw, & the ending really pissed me off the first time I saw it, but I've changed my point of view in the last three years. Mostly because it was Kurt Russell's idea to go there, & that wasn't Kurt Russell or any of his past characters he's played who got beat up.

  • I can also lol at the ending because I can sense Kurt is having fun acting that way.

  • @Zeeboe I don't know what you mean by "& t was Stuntman Mike, not Kurt Russell" because Kurt Russell is Stuntman Mike. I'm glad you see where I'm comming from, but I never did change my point of view over the last three years, I still hate the end.

  • @HaggardNaggar - There were women clapping, laughing, & cheering at the end of the movie. lol. Anytime I introduce this movie to my female friends, they have the same reaction. I know my two friends I showed this movie to had never seen or heard of Kurt Russell. (One is 18, the other is 19) & I was just glad to have had introduced the greatness that is Kurt Russell to a new generation, which I believe was one of QT's reasons for hiring him.

  • Even if they don't see him in the same way we do when we first saw Kurt as Snake, he still played a memorable cult character, & that is all that really matters. It also made me very proud to be a Kurt Russell fan. I loved that Kurt played a slasher in a horror movie. I never would have expected to see him in that sort of role, & he was beyond perfect, & now plenty of women/girls will forever fear him. :)

  • @Zeeboe Yeah, I guess it's woman empowering. But still.

  • @HaggardNaggar - Yeah, I'd even say it was a chick flick. A violent chick flick with QT's own personal style attached to it, but a chick flick nontheless. I still enjoy it though, and thought Kurt Russell stole the show.

  • @Zeeboe Foshow

  • i love this guy. he's amazing. it's my dream to be a screenwriter one day and his love for filmmaking just completely inspires me.

  • notice how they didn't mention death proof lol

  • what r u talking about..inglorios basterds was a rom com....ok not a rom, but definitily a com..dont tell me u took it seriosly,,

  • 2.05 im a baastard

  • I love his hat

  • "Are you trying to be one of us?"

  • thats a bingo so fun

  • oh how i miss rove and his interviews. my sunday nights just arn't the same.

  • "OMG, what did they do to Fritz?"

Cracked me up more than anything.

  • @Jennyfisch haha me too!

  • Inglorious basterds Is a good movie best scene is where all the Germans died in the theater

  • The opening chapter and the cantina are instant classics too.

  • best is when he eats the cake with shoshanna

  • "with MOOORE!"

  • do you think he was talking about ''Catherine'' or ''Sara'' from CSI?

  • Who is he talking about? I want to know

  • quick quentin put on this hat..its a lil small for ur goodtyear blimp of a head but uh...((puts it on)

    beautiful..now go do the interviews

(cracks up when quentin leaves the room)

    great interview,,,burn the hat though

  • Quentin has a very genius but eccentric brain. You can just detect that when he speaks. He's perfect for publicizing films. Is there any director who does more interview and promotions for his films these days?

  • @Tigerlily21 kevin smith

  • what happened to death proof? doesnt that count as a movie. or does it count as a segment in grindhouse?

  • great interview

  • he says alright way too much, but a fucking genius

  • I Think Tarantino Knows every word of the Dictionary. This man is a Genius

  • which actress was he talking about?

  • I think he's talking about one of the girls from the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode he directed

  • What did they do to Fritz? Haha great Bakshi reference.

  • do they have to keep mentioning box office?

  • It's QUEN not QUIN!

  • He said QUENtin - just the Aussie accent

  • i like tarantino

  • QT is class.

  • Muckin' around, taking the piss, mate are all British sayings more so than Auzzy.

  • I'd have to agree with Tarantino on that, "BASSTERDSS."

  • I love how that guy says "Moooorre...." at the end...

  • Quentin Tarantino LOVE'S AUSSIE FLIMS!!!! FUCK YEAH!!!

  • I didn't hear him say that, All I heard is he had a few Australian friends and said mate alot

  • I was just pointing out, they have almost similar styles.... if Kubrick's ass blew up into a hundred different pieces, Tarantino would be one of them

  • Can everybody get off Kubrick's Dick already! Tarantino does nothing but put out great movies. Kubrick was excellent as well.

  • I love Mike Myers cameo in this film. This is easily Tarantinos best work yet, better than Pulp Fiction.

  • difference between Tarantino and Kubrick....

Tarantino is a child compared to Kubrick...

  • Youre right, any comparison is an insult to the great Kubrick. However, Tarantino also has its own little universe. Granted its not as immersive and not nearly as ingenious as Kubricks work. Though Tarantinos movies deserve the credit they get.

  • Don't compare apple with an orange.

  • YOU.... BAAAAAAAAAARSSSSTARD!

    XD!!!

That's EXACTLY how British people say "bastard".

Good GOD I love this man!

  • NEIN NEIN NEIN NEIN NEIN!!!

  • oh my god!

    what happend to fritz

  • i saw this wen it was on tv!! love it wen they interview QT! i remember wen they interviewd him on ROVE about kill bill!!

  • i bet tarantino wants to make a basterds style revenge flick with john brown as the main character, and his version of history, John brown succeeds in taking the federal arsenal and killing slave owners

  • Quentin saying THE BASTARD at 2:55 is hilarious!

  • thats english lingo not aussie lingo lol

  • he sounded like stewie when he said you bastard

  • this man is really smart !!!!

all his movies kick ass !

  • wha??!! hes ....ah fukk u!! he rules because hes smart and funny YOU could never ever make movies like him!!

  • Nice cap man!!=)

  • Comment removed

  • I SO agree with 1:50 - 2:05 especially if you hear Rowan Atkinson say it in BlackAdder.

  • you can learn alot of QT .. smart man and kick ass director .. reservoir dogs and pulp fiction two of my favourite movies of all time (:

  • Plaid Spit.

  • OMG he reminds me of my english teacher so badddd

  • imagine QT as an english teacher

"ENGLISH MOTHERFUCKER DO YOU SPEAK IT!?"

  • Lucky you! I would never miss a class if my English teacher reminded me of QT

  • The chair Rove's sitting on don't look very comfortable!

  • Fantastic Movie.

Only one thing i wondered about...

What happened to BJ Novak's character. How did he get cought?

  • In the screenplay for the movie, his character drove them( The Basterds) to the premiere. It didn't say how exactly he got caught, but I assume the Nazis found out who he was and captured him.

  • He was the driver

  • nein nein nein

    oh yes yes yes

    best part!

  • It's not even in the movie like that.

  • Did Fritz Die??

  • Genius.

  • He is so cool, the film is great, I loved it

  • wonder which actress he's talking about.

  • christine harnos

  • i don't know who that is

  • glad spit lol

  • VB mate! :D

  • Brilliant man, sometimes a little sadistic, but a great director.

  • Somebody can tell me

    who is referred to @ 6:33 ???

  • Well he hasn't done much tv directing so I'm going to guess when he did the CSI episode, maybe the bitch from CSI

  • yeah i remember...

    but he also Direct "Alias"

  • It could've been ER. He did one episode quite awhile back.

  • Who knows really, why would it matter haha?

    Still a funny story

  • christine harnos...I've seen everything he's done a little obsessively lol, I knew it was in ER when she has to eat pizza while laughing and kidding around.

  • Thanks....is good to know!!!

  • Probably someone on the "Motherhood" episode of ER he directed.

  • what an awesome interview!

  • Thanks. I missed this last night and was hoping it was on here
