Today is the first anniversary. Not only is the ship still at the bottom of the sea, but there has also been no provision of removing oil and other harmful substances from the wreckage. Today there is still oil leaking to the surface.

Greek goverments tend not to give a SHIT about islands and their people, exept of once in every 5 years,that is before (and never after) elections and when they want to promote Greece for its beauty.

Hard to believe I was on that ship when it happened. I was on the topmost deck and heard this hollow scraping sound out of nowhere. Then, thirty seconds later, it started listing.

A shame. I loved that ship. Very sad to see a beautiful piece of technology go under like that. I'll raise a toast to it.

If that cruise ship sunk, wouldn't they have to deal with the oil and chemical spills leaking from the ships engines. and i agree with you Dbuilder about what RCLCruiser said. ugly yes. but the down side is that they lost two people and the ship sank near an underground volcano fault. They're afraid it could slip further down into the fault. And angelo, ur an ass for saying its wonderful.
