Hi, You have also the previous Cintiq? I have the cintiq dtz 2100 and I wold to know the difference between new and old version for a possible replacement... Lag cursor is the same? The contrast? The colors? Have you a dead pixels on your? Many tnx!
3 parts and your not going to show us it working, just a quick tip, spend less time on the packaging and more on the actual product. Otherwise good unboxing video
i just ordered mines mate, and i heard felt nibs weak screen down less (ive also ordered nushield screen for it) but its only available in grey, isnt the new nib black? guess they need to make more black ones;p
Wow, this is the longest and most boring unboxing ever! Instead of unboxing the thing and fast forward it and show us all the goodies in just 10mins but you have to spend like 30mins unboxing the damn thing and setting it up.
Ye i did use the cintiq for 1 day before I gave it back. You do get used to it, but i was hoping they changed it since it's been 5 years I think since it was released. Maybe they have a good reason for it, but I wish it was as flat as any LCD minitor.
I have to say that 3-5mm gap was a bit of a bugbear for me for the first ... 5 hours or so of use... but the reality here is that even when it matches up, you're actually looking at the cursor and not the tip of the pen when drawing, and the reason is, because the brush sizes can vary so dramatically, that looking at the single point of the tip no longer really matters.
It's 99% there as far as position of the tip and cursor goes.
Yes, there is a space between the surface of the glass and the visible pixels. It's probably 3 to 5 mm. You really get used to it quickly, but you need to make sure you calibrate your unit properly to make sure your pen matches up with your cursor.
I bought the previous model last year but gave it back because only after I bought it had I realised that I have no money left, and I didn't really need it. But I was wondering, does this model still have a thick screen? I mean there is a bit of space between the monitor, and the actuall screen, which makes it a bit weird, at least for me.
Very thorough and informative series of videos, thank you.

Thanks for asking. Hope that helps.
