  • This would be good as well with hempseed I think

  • Mmmm lumpy milk!

  • no cows milk for me. how's about almond or coconut milk ?

  • you know what's healthier than drinking cow's milk? how about soy, almond, coconut, oat, hemp or rice milk?

  • @brittyn lovee almond and coconut!

  • Blueberry Coconut..it's like Heaven to my ears! :D

  • I love you! :D

  • When I was younger I was friends with a guy who lived on a dairy farm, we used to always drink unpasteurised milk straight from the cow..It was the best milk I ever tasted, so creamy and slightly thick, I drank it for years and never got sick or anything..The only danger with raw milk is if you dont know the farmer or heard it comes from because a cow might be sick or infected, if you know where its coming from its 95% safe IMO...nice recipe thanks for the help :)

  • hahah were you kidding about the milk thing i have actually never heard that!! lol but yummmm i love smoothies!!

  • @fashionfever8 raw milk is another word for unpasteurised milk milk, It isnt boiled to kill any bacteria which may be present in it. I drank it for years without ever getting sick even once and it was the best milk I ever tasted, nice and creamy not like the watery milk we buy in the shops..we used to drink it straight from the cow and it was amazing! if you can get it you should try some its good stuff :)

  • If anyone is looking for weight loss smoothie recipes theres a link for Fit Smoothies Weight Loss on my channel :)

  • cool smoothie and bet it's really tasty.

    TRY my my HIGH ENERGY berry and banana smoothie, it's delicious! Check it out on my channel...xoxo

  • milk is crap. they imprison a cow, kill her child and steal her milk...dont be so numb people! besides its just not good for an adult human body

  • @NEUHEITEN100 the dont kill her calf's at least not in this part of the world. If they killed all the calf's then where do all the cattle come from? dont you think cattle would be extinct by now? also cow's milk is the nearest thing there is to human milk so it is indeed very good for you

  • @scuz55 first they seperate cow and calf. the mother tryes to defende her child but gets beaten or shocked with sticks and electricity. all the male calfs get killed. they tie them with strings inside of dark boxes for 3 months so they cant move and develope muscles. its an unbelievable torture of very sentient beings. the female calfs will be added to the milk production line when they r old enough. they keep their bodies permanently pregnant, wich makes them break down n die after 5 years

  • can i use soy milk because im lacto

  • fuck off

  • Get free shipping with this coupon at the vitamix store: 06-001801

  • Blueberry cowboy

  • Looks delicious. I LOVE coconut. Thank you!

  • the ingredients look good. but never drink out of my milk and then proceed to make my smoothie. That's just yuckie. Anyways, the finished product does look nice, but I dunno about the taste. Seem like it might be too too bitter. Try adding some sweetner, if you don't like sweets, maybe try adding some aritfical sweetner. GOOD JOB !

  • would it make a differense if i used regular milk instead of raw milk?

  • I do not drink milk, and would sub coconut water and agave syrup instead. And add banana.

  • Haha I liked it when you went "That just happen to be magically on the tray." This is a good video, you seem like a real person cooking, not some robot cooking slave.

  • I'm gonna add ice cream to this! yummy

  • the milk looks warm

  • I can't help but think that Smoothie needs some kind of sweetener like honey, if you're not one of those people who lives on a diet of flax seed and tofu.

  • honey is nice.....however the blueberries are pretty sweet too......

    Keith

    tofu...yuk!

  • @keithsnow,tofu is not so bad....if ur asian,but,true,blueberries are sweet enough

  • @keithsnow tofu is a great addition to a smoothie, no flavor but added protein and thickness.

  • This looks delicious, do you have the measurements?

  • 1/2 cup blueberries

    1-3/4 cups milk

    1/2 cup coconut flakes

    2 tbs almonds, sliced and toasted

    keith

  • its look taste good this is interesting tahks

  • tasty stuff

    Keith

  • You make food look so good lol

  • wow i'm so hungry

  • Very interesting recipe!!

  • ur blender CRAZY

  • I think mine is a little less processed. crack a young coconut. use the meat & water. add ice, fresh spinach leaves & blueberries. SOOOOOOO GOOD. and VERY VERY energizing. I felt like i drank 3 energy drinks without the jitters or crash.

  • i agree with you but I add oat meal with it instead

  • Brilliant recipe..thanks loads x

  • I guess the daughter can make her own damned milkshake? haha, that'll teach her to leave a tray of ingredients unatended.

  • LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! buvkstarchaser I can't stop laughing, thank you! I was thinking the exact same thing.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    I don't think frozen blueberries are that healthy: as you can see with the dripping juice they carry a heavier glycemic load than fresh and no longer have those needed enzymes. Best 2 use whichever fruit is in season. Coconut flakes? Questionable! Almonds? Never! 2 hard 2 digest unless 100% raw & soaked. Not so healthy after all now, is it?!
  • I prefer fresh berries but frozen organic are the next best thing...organic coconut flakes, un-sweetened are very healthy, but I do agree that raw soaked almonds are healthier..but I do not want to make it so difficult that people can not take part....at least this is better then drinking bottled juice or coke....or those awful smoothies they sell near the yogurt section, full of fake color, gums, preservatives etc... a real mockery
    keith
  • @IndiumBlue why is coconut questionable? and why do berries have a heavier glycemic load than fresh?
  • @IndiumBlue Almonds are one of the perfect foods of the earth. Too hard to digest? You're a weenie! Instead of criticizing post up a recipe. Troll.
  • @NYtranspIant Hi idiot! Perhaps you ought to educate yourself before you go off insulting people. Look up Weston A Price on soaking grains and nuts! PS: All almonds in USA are PASTEURIZED, it's the law! That means they're dead and no so perfect after all. How ya like em apples now, faggot!
  • @IndiumBlue Hello back angry troll! Where's your recipe? I don't care about the book you read man. I grow Almonds and Pecans in my back yard here in sunny GA. You are all over this thread spewing your pseudo-expertise.  It doesn't matter what you eat, your troll stress levels will stop your heart by 54. You should really get some brains and not rely on cuss words to detract from an otherwise informative video. Enjoy your boiled nuts, and nice avatar!
  • @NYtranspIant Hi again, Idiot!! Sorry to burst your bubble there uneducated buddy but you totally failed to make me angry! LMAO!!! Right we gonna believe you got an almond tree. Nice backpedalling when I called you on your TOTAL LACK OF AWARENESS. Educate yourself and stop wasting my time. I'm not your savior. Now, pardon me I have to go into my personal vault now and stack up my new gold bars with the old ones!
  • @IndiumBlue Hello back! I have you on the run I see. Believe what you want pal. I also have: 2 organic grapefruits, a navel orange, a plantation pomegranate( available at the nursery at tyty) a peach tree, and a pear. This year I will add a walnuts and figs.
    Sorry for your time, but if you don't enjoy our discourse, perhaps you can just ignore my responses, no? Have a nice day my friend. You may want to coat your gold in a thin layer of hairspray, it prevents tarnishing. Look it up.
  • @NYtranspIant Hairspray depletes the ozone layer, look it up. Peaches & pears huh? Ok I'm sold. What's your address I'll look you up. Mind if I bring my salami?
  • @IndiumBlue CFC's do and the Ozone is repaired. There's actually too much now. Look it up. Keith have fun with this guy, I'm done.
  • @buckstarchaser lmao ur funny!!!
  • yumm
  • ooo look good. ((YUMMY))
  • y is raw milk illegal? hahaha
  • Raw milk means unpasturized. The name "raw" is a marketing ploy. Pasturization kills germs that may be in the milk.
    Pasturization became manditory because kids were getting sick from salmonella or other milk pathogens. Thus SELLING unpasturized milk would incur a fine.
    Using statements like "this is ilegal somewhere else" and "raw" increase its percieved value to wannabe rebels and gulible health nuts. There's really nothing special about it although there are claims that it's healthier.
  • stfu
  • The fast pasteurization used does kill off enzymes. This is avoided by using a lower, slower pasteurization or not pasteurizing at all. It isn't the 1800s anymore so eating raw eggs and milk isn't as dangerous as it used to be. Just make sure you have an immune system.
  • @SemphasNecros: raw milk is illegal thanks to the FDA. Ever heard of Kevin Trudeau? He explains it best. Basically raw milk is super healthy and heals (yes, CURES) many illnesses the same way vitamin C CURES scurvy. If raw milk was legal more people would be healthy which means they would sell less drugs. Unfortunately in my area I only find xenoestrogen laced raw milk: in damn plastic bottles without cream! :(
  • we drink only raw milk from grass fed Jersey cows...can't testify to healing..but it certainly has helped our children and us, remain very healthy with optimum weight and very bright-eyed and bushy tailed
    keith
  • @IndiumBlue The FDA is killing us like other government agencies that rule us.
    They are paid off by special interest groups in washington. And Kevin Trudeau.
    He is so full of Sh+t He is right up there with the FDA.
  • @sixtiesforever1966 Yes I agree on the FDA they get payola from the bad guys who taint our food supply. Really? I thought Trudeau was decent guy. What has he done?
  • I wouldn't call it a smoothie if there is added milk to it. It would be a milkshake.
  • Did you soak your nuts?
  • Only after a hard day of work.
  • ahhhahhaa yea really though most nuts should be soaked overnight.. like almonds, sunflower...
  • My version of raw milk would be nut milk. There's nothing more nutritious than freshly made nut milk. Raw nuts I enjoy the most are almonds, hazelnuts, macadamia.
  • you know there's phytic acid in raw nuts right?
  • Of course, I know raw nuts have phytic acid. He used unpasterized "raw" milk...got bacteria? Raw milk is more scary. Perhaps certain farms are safe enough to sell them unpasterized.
  • sweet music.
  • My teeth get so blue after drinking blueberry drinks
  • I didn't know coconut was a healthy food. I know it has properties they are finding can be good for surface skincare, when the small part of the population that isn't allergic uses it. However, since it is one of the few non-meat saturated fat sources in the world without the vitamins, minerals, or even prot/carb/healthy fat to balance, I think I'll skip this. It isn't a local or fair trade ingerdient either. The farmers get screwed.
  • Totally appreciate that you used raw milk! More people need to know about the pasteurization problem in this country. I'm curious about your almonds, did you purchase them slivered or did you do that yourself.
    Thanks for the recipe! My wife LOVES your videos!
  • Holy yum yums!!!!! that's good! =)
  • i put real milk 'cause i couldn't find raw,but i have to tell that it was perfect!
  • instead of the raw milk and unsweeted cocunut can i sub for orgainic unsweetened cocunut milk?
  • very nice. thank you.
  • Yummy!
  • I forgot i was alergic to coconut.
  • D= I want one of those!
  • there is nothing healthy about milk, raw or not.
  • Looks real good Keith! Do you ever juice wheatgrass?
  • have tasted it..but never juiced it.
    Just recently took my Champion juicer out of the barn to start juicing again.
    Keith
  • check out actor christopher cooking on imcooked(dot)com a new site just like youtube but for cooking only check it out and upload any cooking videos you have
  • hey now..those vegans are poeple too! And they demand vegan content from me. The other day we shot a video where I was grinding meat, it was certainly NOT a vegan video, look for it soon!
    Keith
  • haha we have the same kitchens
  • do all your cooking needs appear on a tray in your fridge too? lol thats somethin spiffy :P
  • I thought raw mild had a lot of carbs?
  • Yeah, a little disapponting that peopel tend to post garbage like this with no revalency to the video....its a tasty recipe, as an alternative,you can use organic coconut milk in place of raw milk, then skip the flakes, just add blueberries. Very tasty. Look for full fat coconut milk, the "light" varieties contain fillers and thickners..yuk!
    Keith
  • ok because it does sound really good and i want to try it. thanks! :)
  • LOL I wanna try to make one too
  • wow Keith I will try that, but with semi-skimmed milk cause I don't think we have raw people in the UK but still seems nice. Instead of semi-skimmed can you use coconut milk so give it more flavor ? Yeah as said I think I will try this out :)
  • Wow, the majority of these comments have nothing to do with the video. Delicious recipe, I must try this the next time I get blueberries and coconuts under one roof.
  • This too looks great.. I think I have to visit your website. Seeing you use raw milk (lucky you!) I've got a feeling you also support the WAP food philosophy..? Regardless, YEAH for REAL food & Nourishing Traditions!
  • I love raw milk...get gallons of it from a local dairy, rich and creamy like milk is supposed to be.
    I love real traditional foods, they create health!
    Keith
  • it doesnt seem like you can just go out and get the right ingredients for this smoothie..i mean, raw milk? an immersion blender? unsweetened organic coconut flakes? it sounds really good but i mean jeez
  • to be honest..raw milk is not absolutely needed...the coconut flakes are available in most healthy stores like whole foods, blueberries at any store frozen.
    Give it a shot!
    and..depending on your state..maybe raw milk too?
    Keith
  • Nevermind. I forgot i was alergic to coconut.
  • Yummy. Im making one tomorow morning for breakfast :) Where i live theres blueberry bushes everywhere.
  • And where would that be? I need to know where blue berries (and other berries for that matter) are grown.
  • i wish i have that blender.
  • they are not expensive..under 25 bucks I think...
    Keith
  • I consider not having a crush a good thing, since it would allow you to not get caught up in all that giggly schoolgirl "does he like me or does he not like me OoOoO i hope he likes me *squeEeEeEeEeE*" bullshit. So thank you for making me not have a crush for 5 years.
