I have to elaborate the ANC was not peaceful, but they were fighting to free a real majority from oppression. This is not Quebecois, they are an artificial majority, seperatists only represent 1.5% of the continental population and less than 10% of the Canadian population
I don't want to be rude or anything, but if you count Quebecian separatists ALL around Canada and in a whole continent, it's sure NOT to represent a huge percentage. You don't find much Quebecian separatists in southern USA right? The last referendum has count less than 50% souverainists, so f**k off with your statistics.

The point is, and it's a fact, 49.2% voted yes. The other fact is that les Québécois represent 80% of Quebec's population. So indeed most of real Québecers want a country of their own.
