It directly relates to the game and so far looks like it's only setting things up to connect with the next game. I don't think there is going to be any cannon here that will carry over to any of the other books, but it is still kinda too early to tell. So unless you just wanna read more Batman if you haven't played the game and don't plan on getting the next one I'd wait. Batman The Gates of Gotham comes out soon and I'd wait for that one.
I am so glad that they axed Wonder Woman.
