Aerith only knows the "Zack" Cloud, she doesn't know the "Cloud" Cloud. So, she did fall in love, but only as far as we know with the Cloud that is like Zack. Though she wanted to know the real Cloud, she never saw it.
Okay, that's not completely true, she watched him from the Lifestream, but by that time Cloud was a mix of Zack and his true self. So, she never was able to see him as himself because that him is gone.
Agree, thats what made this game so dramatic. Aerith fell actually in love with Zack. So did Zack. You could see the chemistry between them, as they kept wanting to see each other and spend some time together. I believe that Aerith never did fall in love with Cloud. I always matched Cloud with Tifa, not Aerith. Aerith is like the lonesome widow that was ment for Zack, but it never happened.
Thats the drama of Crisis Core. Thats why the story is beautifull...

its not true that Cloud killed Zack. But it was Shinra who did it.... I CRIED WITH ZACK DIED!!! T__T I LOVE CLOUD THOUGH!!! I like the focus on it^^ It was great to make a video like this. The Song Fits it perfically!! I i had a tear drop as i watch this video. It was just Beatiful! Great Job and keep up the good work!

Most people forgot Aerith and Zack never had a happy ending. In face, Aerith ended up giving up Zack.
And I believe Aerith never, I mean, never fall in love to Cloud. When you finish all 3 (CC, FF7, AC) then you will realised.
No offence, I still like Cloud a lot.
