But I disagree about Crosby, he has never played on a line with Staal, and as long as I can remember he only played on a line with Malkin a few weeks 2 seasons ago. This season, he has played all the games (that i've watched) with Kunitz and Dupuis, he only got Malkin on the power play and for 2 or 3 shifts at even strength ; still he has 13G and 16A in 20 games.

@ovechkin894 I see what you're trying to do, but it's actually a negative that Ovi has an all star cast, yet produces less than Stamkos. Ovi is surrounded by guys who can pass and shoot. Ovi gets quite a few assists, BUT the kicker is the majority of those are phantom 3rd man assists. Stamkos doesn't have all the luxuries Ovi does, he basically has St. Louis who Stamkos actually made better since he arrived.. Stamkos can set up plays or finish them.

Tampa Bay will be either frist or second this year in points, their offense is awesome however their goaltending is poor. I hope the goal race turns out like last year Stamkos/Crosby/Ovechkin or even Hossa last year was fantastic.

they're so much better than the past 2 years and in a playoff spot largely because of stamkos (especially his dangerousness on the powerplay as of late). with lecavalier you have an argument sort of (i think he's way overrated and st louis deserves the C) but the rest of the team is solid and working on consistency. watch for them in the playoff race till the end of the year.

@me17557 Not anymore, Tampa Bay is pretty good now I think. Vinnie will make a comeback, St. Louis will score another 90+ points and they'll set up Stamkos time and time again. Also Hedman will have a breakout season...they added a bit of extra scoring with Gagne I think they're pretty well off.

@me17557 Stamkos is good, but without those key players to help him out, he wouldn't even have all of those points. Like if he was on a team with a lot of superstars, then he wouldn't be able to get all those points. I noticed that a lot of his one timer goals had assists from Martin St. Louis and some of the other goals by Lecavalier because that line has brilliant chemistry and cause he get's a hella lot of support from his teammates.
@javsjavs09 Stamkos is the best player in the NHL currently, and would have all those points anywhere. He is a naturally gifted player. St Louis and especially Lacavalier aren't that great anymore, and chemistry can only go so far.

St. Louis is playing so much better now over the last couple years, because he now has a gifted player, to play along side. Keep it up Stamkos, 96 more points to go, 50 goals to go, it Will happen, he's to powerful, fast, and most importantly, level headed and humble, he's not a cheap shot artist/showboating monkey like AO and doesn't complain and chirp as much as Crosby, he just goes out there like a cyborg and keeps on playing.
Its players like Stamkos, and Malkin for that matter, make us wonder why the term "generational talent" got so dilluted for AO and Sid.

I predict 58 goals, 114 points.
An absolute monster of an offensive player.
not last years season, but this years season can be compared to Ovechkins 20-21 rookie season in 05-06 where he got 52 goals, 106 points. Ovechkin wasn't even in the NHL when Stamkos won the rocket richard at age 19-20. Its this season where he'll compare and he'll compare favorably, maybe even better.

Tampa Bay will be either frist or second this year in points, their offense is awesome however their goaltending is poor. I hope the goal race turns out like last year Stamkos/Crosby/Ovechkin or even Hossa last year was fantastic.

I hate the little no it alls who come on here saying they can do these moves or the Crosby moves etc... you you little bastards can probibly do it, but it probibly takes you a good 2-5 times to perform any of them and not anywhere close to the speed as Stamkos or any other puck magician, am willing to bet there are thousands of kids who can do these moves but not right on the spot or at the speed and precision Stamkos does it nor do you possess his speed, strength or shot etc...32 goals already.

they're so much better than the past 2 years and in a playoff spot largely because of stamkos (especially his dangerousness on the powerplay as of late). with lecavalier you have an argument sort of (i think he's way overrated and st louis deserves the C) but the rest of the team is solid and working on consistency. watch for them in the playoff race till the end of the year.

@me17557 Not anymore, Tampa Bay is pretty good now I think. Vinnie will make a comeback, St. Louis will score another 90+ points and they'll set up Stamkos time and time again. Also Hedman will have a breakout season...they added a bit of extra scoring with Gagne I think they're pretty well off.

@me17557 Stamkos is good, but without those key players to help him out, he wouldn't even have all of those points. Like if he was on a team with a lot of superstars, then he wouldn't be able to get all those points. I noticed that a lot of his one timer goals had assists from Martin St. Louis and some of the other goals by Lecavalier because that line has brilliant chemistry and cause he get's a hella lot of support from his teammates.

@javsjavs09 Stamkos is the best player in the NHL currently, and would have all those points anywhere. He is a naturally gifted player. St Louis and especially Lacavalier aren't that great anymore, and chemistry can only go so far.

St. Louis is playing so much better now over the last couple years, because he now has a gifted player, to play along side. When it was just Lecavalier and St. Louis, there was a long span of average play from St. Louis.

St. Louis was having very average seasons before Stamkos was turned into a fitness freak over the summer at gary roberts training camp.
st. louis was/is an 80 point player before the arrival of stamkos (fact)
so when a 1st overall projected superstar with his shot, smarts, speed, size, comes along, you get the inflated 90+ player that he was last year and this year.
doesnt matter whos passing to him, nobody is stopping his slapshot.
