The guy made it home safely without being killed in a gruesome accident? Given the nature of most Think! ads, I have to put my M Night Shyamalan wig on and say: WHAT A TWEEST!
Seriously though, good advert, I'm not a motorcyclist (or a driver) but it's still good to see safety videos like this. (And normally, I dislike these adverts with good reason: having been a victim of a car accident some years ago, seeing the more violent adverts does nothing but remind me of what happened back then. D: )
That's the unfortunate thing about motorbikes. Absolute joy to ride...but it only takes one little bit of oil, or one stupid berk, and you're pretty much toast. Even with the protective clothing.
And most of the time, there's nothing the rider can do about it. :(
......can't ride too safe.....3.5 years since I had a bad accident (beeping blind lorry driver!!!) - serious leg injury, still having physio and only 3 months since last surgery and more likely!! :-( Still, been riding again for over 12 months! :-)
Well, I'm riding for 6 weeks now, so I'm a newbie ... slipped on wet road on a dike, I flew of the dike, but I was unharmed ... my XJ 600 got damaged though =(
Thanks Rebel!!! Just great! loved it... I know you guys are youngsters but I´ve been riding for more than 13 years and all my spills were like bird shit!!!! lol... I NEVER saw them comin!!! hahahahahahaha RIDE SAFE!!!

Imagine how much safer he'd have been had he just ridden on the correct side of the road the whole time. Dudes driving in oncoming have a dang death wish.
Don't ride a motorcycle do you.......you're comments serve to highlight how other road users just don't understand the somewhat different principles of roadcraft that apply to riding a bike. OK there are planty of bad/poor bike riders (same % as bad car, truck or drivers of whatever) but this guy is safely uses the opposite lane to get a better view and see if it is or ISN'T safe for overtakes ;-) Bikers tend to be aware of their vulnerability i.e. crash/hit something, it'll hurt a lot at least
I heard through the grapevine that the Smurfs swear by motorbikes but wombles prefer cars!! This back in 1976 caused a massive war between the two creatures resulting in house prices falling more than 23%!!
But shortly after this they agreed a peace treaty and both lol in good jest!!
Next time someone asks me how i knew that driver wasnt looking, ima show them this!

I didn't say anything about it NOT being great, now did I?
Lol = Laughing Out Loud, and if someone "LOL's", it can be in appreciation of something as well.
