Sengals are a wonderful parrot to own if you have the time to devote to them.. Mine is 17 yrs old now and still acts like a 2 yr old but that is typical of the species..

@Emariella Birds don't really "smell"; I've got my budgie standing right next to my bed and he doesn't smell the least. I'd say your mom shouldn't need to worry :)

@TheReolus I can't live with them hence why I have been ripping them out and replacing them with wood and tile. By fitted I think you mean what they call wall to wall carpeting? Wall to wall used to be a fashionable thing but really isn't anymore, the main reason most houses here have it is because real estate developers like it because it's a quick and cheap way of covering floors, a carpet installer can literally carpet a room in under 30 minutes.

@pokeraquaza22 that is a clicker. a lot of people use that when training birds. They learn that when they hear the click, it means they did something good (like a trick), and a treat is soon to come. :) hope this helped!

Kili is so adorable. Our senegal, Loki, won't step up for us (instead, tries to bite, but I can pet him through the cage bars), so I'm going to be trying a training video that "kiliparrot" put up. Wish me luck!

My cockatiel does this trick too...too cute. The only thing I suggest, is no metal coins. The germs and metals can make Kili sick. You can get plastic ones at an office supply store! Just a hint! :)
