  • What country are these trains in?! Is this a daily used service or a weekend fun thing?!! I'm from Australia only just found these so cool!!!!!

  • wait! those blue wheels are thomas the tank's wheels! and so is the red buffer!

  • @IceManNJD This is Gordon's chassis

  • Is Hurricane going to be a A3 like Flying Scotsman?

  • Hurricane is based on an LNER A1 pacific, Flying Scotsman was an A1 pacific when first built but was reclassified an A3 after the addition of a higher pressure boiler.

  • That is one fine piece of engineering - just as impressive as the full size Tornado pacific recently built at a cost of £3million.

Not too sure about the blue livery they painted her with ( Hurricane ), but 1st class anyway.

  • Nice vid, according to my local paper, the Hurricane is due back in service on the 17th Feb (10:35 New Romney to Hythe).

  • cheers, Thanks for the info, i might reschedule my next visit from the 9th to then.

  • yes that is true they did get damaged but there are loads of buffer casting in the railway workshops iv seen then ?

  • nice to see how its rebuild is going

  • intresting to see that its got no10 tender buffers fitted to the front of the loco now do you no the reason behind this ?

  • maybe the ones hurricane had before got damaged, and the only ones left were on Syns tender.
