@smithdvr HAHA! thats an awesome story. yeah like i said, I do believe in ghosts but I think people like this guy are selling fantasies and spewing crap without any sort of real evidence to back up his claims. kinda like how silvia brown sells spirituality. and in the ghost hunter community it seems like speculation and wide spread belief is just as good as fact, you just have to have enough idiots believing / saying it.
Chris Moon, from my understanding, charges people for a EVP session using the Frank's Box. This alone makes me suspect fraud due to the commercialism involved, by exploiting people financially.
The Frank's Box uses a range of frequencies from AM/FM signals (or what most people like to call "white noise"). The problem here is that any sweep of such signals will obtain man-made signals that are unclear. The so-called communication that takes place are the man-made signals, not spirit voices.
I think this is more audio matrixing, not a ghost, since you cant not see or hear nothing with white noise or a grainy photo your mind makes some form of words or images causing faces or sentences, (for those who dont know abou matrixing) which your listening to radio broadcasters voices til you hear a few broken words to make a new word or sentence which only sounds like a sentence
Also, im listening to the ghost box and when he asked it a question, it didnt say anything, he just made stuff up. I believe in the ghost box, ive used it and have amazing results, im just still amazed that people are saying this huy is charging people for something.
Who is this douchebag with the long hair behind the desk with the attitude problem? Is he seriously charging people for ghost communication? I agree with what you are saying (both about Chris Moon's exploiting people financially and being a douchebag)
"Ghost Box" or "Frank's Box" is a scam. It uses am/fm frequencies that are scanned (similar to how a person changes radio stations in their car real quickly). The so-called white noise doesn't produce spirit voices, but consists of man-made broadcasts that are partly masked by a white noise (static). This guy is a real douche!
@OCPRS what about when it responds to specific questions tho ??? i mean this guy is obviously just exploiting people but there seems to be something to the ghost box
@OCPRS idk man im still not convinced. i get what youre saying about the whole "subjective validation" stuff but the answers you get from it are ridicously specific i mean you say hey do you like pie and the ghost box is like why yes i do like pie i mean thats not all in my head lmao

Well, there is always the possibility that anything can happen with such things. Others believe its not the technology, but a substitute to a Ouija board and that if you invite "spirits" in the same way, anything may work. But that only raises other concerns.
It does not entiely surprise me that such communication would be possible. I have at least twice heard disembodied voices without the aid of any contraptions and in one case it was also heard by the person next to me. I am not a ghost hunter but have lived in a couple badly haunted houses. A ghost has no vocal cords of course so electromagnetic means makes sense to me as a way that the voices I heard may have been produced. I will say that all other sounds ceased when the voices occured.
Frank works very hard to build his boxes and in good faith, gives them away FREE to people whom he feels will use them for paranormal research. Then you have some jackass who accepts one then turns around and charges little old ladies $200 an hour to hear their dead husbands. SCHMUCK! what a fucking loser..maybe when you put down your die-cast model delorian you could wrap your pony tail in tin foil and get better reception you fucking shlub
Anyone ever find the patent papers, to see if they are where, they said it would be...Cause it sounds like someone ( not spirit ) is hearing the questions and just responding...Making up stuff...
sounds like the old long wave band, below AM, sounds like radio stations coming through and pressure on wire between thumb is acting as a variable condenser, going back and forth on a radio dial, but very interesting
I am a believer in the paranormal but this seems more like matrixing (audio). If you want to hear something bad enough your brain will communicate with you that you heard it. Theres way too much interferrence for this thing to be accurate
wish i had an evp telling me where the missing photo cd with a photo on it of my daughter Lilike Weisz as a baby laughing at her godmother Di Scanlan is since her godmom will never have kids and shes been sick. But it would never happen not even if someone asked this same question on a ghostbox
which photo album is that family photo cd of lilike & her godmother di making her smile in? Is it in my mans moms photo album, since she used to save pictures of lilike of our computer & never emails me a copy when I ask for a double copy of my own childs photographs I took with our digi camera. We never witheld our photos from my mans mom, she got 1st pick of professional portraits over my mom, double prints of our photos, saved my photos of our daughter & witholds copies of my photos from me:
I have heard evp recorded inadvertently with my own DAT recorder at a location that is decidedly haunted. It was the only time I have experienced such phenomena, but the content of the recorded dialogue convinced me of its authenticity (specifically the repeated calling out of the name of one of the people in our group). What I see in this video is garbage.
I was with John Zaffis yesterday, and he used the RadioShack version of this thing. We were talking with somebody. I don't know if he was a spirit or not, but, he was answering our questions.
Oh and the radio sounds like 'Bit' from "Tron"... Oh the spirits, the spirits... no wonder its so easy to fleece the sheep- the world is full of morons.
So spirits communicate using radio waves eh, specifically frequency modulation... mmmm cool. God you people are seriously fucking retarded and incredibly uneducated. Enjoy your reaming from scam artists like this you mental midgets.
I believe in this.. no one can say with any certainty that this is real or false it's just their opinion.. life is a mystery anyway so who says spirits can't talk through frequenies? YAWN... BOOORING!!! " It's a contradiction to claim you're "intelligent", for as soon as you were born on earth you became living proof that you are subserviant to some higher force of which created the portal of your birth" (Gerard Haughey). In other words you're someone's bitch!
This ideal seems flawed to me. First off, let me tell you that I don't buy into this, but the ideal is sound in theory. If you want to give something a voice, giving it white noise to manipulate would be the way to go. *Something like a voice box for someone that lost their vocal cords.* But, wouldn't introducing populated AM and FM signals corrupt the results? What your actually hearing could be snippets of actual radio programs.
There was a device created years back called Spiricom which worked in a different way from the Franksbox.. you should check it out, its pretty interesting
@EclipseProductions89 I have a problem with that because we humans tend to form a meaning out of random input. It's like playing a record backwards and hearing the devil.
I think it would be more beneficial to have a clean radio source instead of populated channels.
@n9ne2006 I saw that a LONG time ago. It's a very interesting project and is what lead me to finding a Frank's box. I thought they worked on the same principal, with AM/FM static replacing the synth sounds, but I was wrong.
Was there a party going on in the other room cause that was SO annoying..Whoever was there should've shut the hell up..Makes it harder to distinguish answers..I would've got up and told that dude to shut the hell up!
I have already given a rational logical explanation concerning the Franks box. It is some in the paranormal community who are making the claim that spirits are speaking through this broken radio. This means that those who are making the claim have the burden of proof.
You may ramble on all you like by yourself, it's all pseudoscience. The only thing mainstream science is looking into is the idea that hauntings are between the ears. This is far more interesting than the mythology that spirits exist.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
its also fact that science cannot explain consciousness since its been proven that consciousness is NOT in the brain and not because of the brain chemical reactions to environment. claiming science is the answer to everything is as completely blind as fanatics claiming religion is the answer to everything. obviously you've never had an unexplained experience. most non-believers become believers their first time.
Please point to me the studies, concerning consciousness. Science is in the position of evaluating good evidence from bad evidence. all the paranormal community has is a stack of bad evidence, which they are trying to make into good evidence. If something happens which is unexplained then it is simply unexplained. If you jump to the conclusion that it is paranormal. Then you have given up curiosity for certainty.
Im sorry but consciousness has not been proven to not be in the brain, it's a completely unproven state that many people debate about and there is not a definite answer to what it is, so do not claim that it has been "proven" to be anything because it has not.
firstly i didnt say that consciousness was an unproven state i merely stated the FACT that it has been proven to NOT be a chemical phenomena of the Neurological System in the human body. Sheesh people need to read.
The subject simply interests me but I could care less, and the world is flat example is a perfect example of forces, or subjective realities that you are unaware of right under your very nose . A example of where everyone is blinded by blunt observations, ancient common senses, and foolish know it all arrogance .
First the world is discovered to be round, then perhaps some day next , the next big discovery will be that there is in fact life after death .
This is every bit associated with science, and that is a fact , if you want to look on blindly and ignore all SCIENTIFIC theories then go ahead, but don't ask me to care because to be frank I really don't.
Saying that there is no science in the study of the paranormal is a proven MYTH there is solid evidence against that . These are not children under bed sheets if you searched science paranormal you would see enough theories to even make the truest scientist atleast jump up , open his eyes and be humored in some sort of fun, engaging way even if he thought it was all BS!
It's a proven fact that people are using science in the debate . PROVEN FACT.
The paranormal is not science at all, however there are many including Chris Moon who would have you think otherwise. If we go by sheer amount of discovery using your flat Earth scenario, the paranormal community's Earth would not only be flat but the ship would have already sailed off the edge. Unless you have evidence to present your rant has nothing more than the same old diatribe I have heard thousands of times.
There's plenty of evidence. Just like there is evidence that you exist, it's simply not understood yet. I don't mean momma's poppa's evolution, I mean existence, period .
Evidence it exists, certainly, but evidence that proves it exists , well how do we define something that can be studied but not understood ? We make it into an experimental science, create fan boy terminology, and theories ....like many other sciences that are actually respected.
The paranormal is not an exact science, but it's still considered to be a science, similar to may other sciences such as time travel, or what other such things that could properly be seen as nonsense, but those things are not nonsense until prove utterly so, or until proven completely other wise . Like many other scientific break throughs before, that were once considered nonsense, this science is still neither proven, nor dis proven .
The only precise science to skepticism is to remain a skeptic .
Other wise some where along the line you got to start believing then you aren't really a true skeptic anymore. You are then some one looking to confirm a belief .
Most skeptics will deny the strongest spiritual evidence, no matter what , its scientific maybe, is it proper, is it correct, who knows ? I don't ?
I believe, yes, am I wrong to , are there other explanations to my beliefs ?? Sure there are, just like a flat earth
Practical thinking is nothing more than the documented , dated science from yesterday , you can'[t be too practical in this world if you ever expect to see any sort of scientific evolution, or break throughs.
Just because you've never seen a ghost does not mean that they haven't seen you . The brain can fool people yes, but I think about 80 percent of what the brain is capable of , and is , IS STILL relevatively unknown to most scientists , and where or not it can serve as a spiritual
by the nonsense of practical thinking, too much of which never did any one any good.
No one ever got any way in the world being too practical , and literal, because frankly nothing is too practical, literal and nothing is overly natural, and at the root of everything is prob something entirely super natural .
Yah spirits are creative thinking, but so is the fabrication of such said REALITY, existence, by far way more creative than science, but there are still many connections to science within this "reality" the same could be said for spirits . Just because something doesn't exist , it doesn't mean that it can't , does not exist else where. That is not an immediate justification, but there is plenty of evidence , plenty of science , EVPS from graves, boxes like these, all things that are out weighed
There is just as much evidence as any other supernatural thing, has it ever occurred to you that by PROPER definition your very existence is unnatural, supernatural ? You are clueless what started the universe , what started IT ALL , this reality is just a big chunk of the super natural by definition . There isn't indisputable evidence of the existence of the shit stain in your under wear, it's just more easy to observe than other beliefs that people doubt, such as the earth once being flat !
I have seen spirits, I don't claim they were factual sightings but I don't leave out any room for it. Most skeptics won't ever believe even if a ghost came out and wrote his after life biography and showed up to shake his fans hands.
Then you have a limited knowledge of skepticism, if there was indisputable evidence of the existence of the paranormal. Skeptics would accept it, but like yourself most of the alleged evidence is that of experiences which do not count as evidence. The human mind has the unique ability to fool itself. Couple that with mythology and the paranormal is born. As of this date there is no evidence of the paranormal.
What does belief have to do with the mind, its based on experiences, perception, yes but its not founded off the mind, or the mind does not always need to immediately become an argument , that some sort of mental issues is at bay. If I thought the Earth was round a few 100 years ago, you would say that I was fooling myself based on beliefs . Not the best example but if you're smart, at all you might see some relevance to other current beliefs .
Those behind the design of the box are very intelligent and have one common goal. To get scientists to launch a full scale unlimited reasearch from a scientific level. I highly disbelieve these people are trying to sell you or I anything... more they are trying to get compensation for time spent and components needed to create this simple CB radio, from top shelf investigators and researchers.
Furthermore, I would assume that the microphonic components have been stripped and replaced by other components necessary to amplify the units sensetivity to elecrogmagnetic frequencies, which mind you are all radio frequencies. This box is no hoax... it is a very intelligent design that is finally being tested in the field. Thats all.
I guarantee you, science does not care about two radios scanning in opposite directions creating random noise. This box is not a hoax its merely a fraud. Powered by showmanship. I have seen the schematics for the box believe me there is not much intelligence behind it.
First EVP is a real phenom. and can be duplicated at home with just a simple recorder and microphone. This however seems to just confuse real EVP with an AM VFO. I have yet to hear a real EVP from one of these boxes as of yet but interested.
This is simple audio pareidolia, Which is the mind's ability to take randomness and turn it into a familiar pattern. This of course has the added feature that Mr. Moon is one of the few who can allegedly translate the random pattern. Very convenient.
Well apparently Ryan Buell from PRS, used this box and in their investigation when they confronted an entity it said DEMON. So you decide for yourself what you think of it, because it scared me bigtime.
Keep in mind that what you see on TV isn't all entirely true. Money and greed usually is more powerfully then honesty and truth. Sending a voice to an audio receiver isn't that hard.
the whole idea when using the ghost box is that you only listen for set answer to the question. I use the radio shack Ghost box and i find it better on the AM channel but do not listen just for anything. You only listen for the answer and then to vertify it ask the question again and if you get the same reply then there is your answer. Its not a hoax
I've been to one of Chris Moon's "Ghost Walks" as we called it when he came to campus and the highlight was the ghost box and having the "spirits" talk to him an members of the audience.
He made no attempt to contact specific people's family and I did not get the sense that he was cheating anyone. However, I know nothing about how this box works and I can see how this would be faked.
If it is fake, it is still a good show, but if it is real then that would be truly amazing.
WOW!!! This is just the result of a human sensory trait known as pareidolia it's when our brains take in random patterns and turn them into a pattern that makes sense, think about it it's what our brains do, this is an example of audio pareidolia. No spirits no demons no angels no kidding. Learn science, it will chase the spirits away.
I believe in the paranormal and use of ghost boxes, but this guy honestly does seem like a scam artist. I can't hear much, and I don't think those people can hear much as well. He's the only one who seems to "hear" the anwers and translate them.
Madhobbit has some ghost box sessions, and they are very impressive and make a lot of sense.
I feel bad for the peopele that pay this guy to help seek answers from loved ones and such, only to be scammed and used.
People do hear what ehy want to hear just as they believe what they want to or are told to. There is no logic to this non-sense. Just a guy tring to make something out of nothing. a guy tring to convice those people that he is the next "John Edwards" how sad for people.
Unbelievable, this is high school psychology the process is pareidolia. It is one of the first sensory processes we are born with, it enables the mind to process randomness and turn it into a familiar pattern. This silly box is doing nothing more than producing a random audio pattern, after a moment or two our minds will begin to pick out familiar phrases out of the randomness. That is what our brains are built to do. I hope no one is giving this guy money!!
If I were dead and I was going to do something I say HELLLOOOOOOOOO! lol Or scream really loud just to freak them out. Then you'd hear disembodied laughing...Then I'd be like, " you-are-an-idioooot!woooo! "
It's so distorted, and he does seem to be the only one to hear them. Why don't they just use evp, I know it's not a back and forth instant thing, and even evps are hard to make out sometimes, but it's way better than tons of static with what seems to be weird radio voices. I bet I could stand in the next room with a cheap toy walkie talkie and say stuff and he'd pick it up on there. Just doesn't seem reliable, unless you could get a good clear loud voice that everyone can hear and decipher.
Amazing! It's called Radio Frequency Interference. Use this in a Faraday Cage, then any results would more credible than the user's own interpretation. Let's be a bit more scientific.
Maybe we should shout it from the rooftops! Talking to the dead is easy. Getting them to talk back is the difficult bit! I was watching a guy getting freaked out by his "ghost box" when hearing the words "Mike" "India" "November" etc. Mmmm...didn't quite want to hear that it may be the UK emergency services using the phonetic alphabet!
How come only Chris can understand what they're saying? it sounds to me like a whole bunch of different frequencies just interfering randomly, and Chris filters and interprets it based on the question asked. I heard an interview with Chris earlier, and he was criticized for being really evasive when asked specific questions. Now I can see why.

"To the non-believers, no proof is available. To the believers, no proof is needed."
xXparanormalXXmehXx 2 years ago
I believe in this.. no one can say with any certainty that this is real or false it's just their opinion.. life is a mystery anyway so who says spirits can't talk through frequenies? YAWN... BOOORING!!! " It's a contradiction to claim you're "intelligent", for as soon as you were born on earth you became living proof that you are subserviant to some higher force of which created the portal of your birth" (Gerard Haughey). In other words you're someone's bitch!
utubin67 2 years ago
This ideal seems flawed to me. First off, let me tell you that I don't buy into this, but the ideal is sound in theory. If you want to give something a voice, giving it white noise to manipulate would be the way to go. *Something like a voice box for someone that lost their vocal cords.* But, wouldn't introducing populated AM and FM signals corrupt the results? What your actually hearing could be snippets of actual radio programs.
Correct me if I'm wrong...
MisticMcil 2 years ago
There was a device created years back called Spiricom which worked in a different way from the Franksbox.. you should check it out, its pretty interesting
n9ne2006 2 years ago
@MisticMcil they spirits manipulate the words from radio stations to form your answer.
EclipseProductions89 2 years ago
@EclipseProductions89 I have a problem with that because we humans tend to form a meaning out of random input. It's like playing a record backwards and hearing the devil.
I think it would be more beneficial to have a clean radio source instead of populated channels.
@n9ne2006 I saw that a LONG time ago. It's a very interesting project and is what lead me to finding a Frank's box. I thought they worked on the same principal, with AM/FM static replacing the synth sounds, but I was wrong.

This is far more interesting than the mythology that spirits exist.

its also fact that science cannot explain consciousness since its been proven that consciousness is NOT in the brain and not because of the brain chemical reactions to environment. claiming science is the answer to everything is as completely blind as fanatics claiming religion is the answer to everything. obviously you've never had an unexplained experience. most non-believers become believers their first time.
the1tigglet 2 years ago
Please point to me the studies, concerning consciousness. Science is in the position of evaluating good evidence from bad evidence. all the paranormal community has is a stack of bad evidence, which they are trying to make into good evidence. If something happens which is unexplained then it is simply unexplained. If you jump to the conclusion that it is paranormal. Then you have given up curiosity for certainty.
batboy1236 2 years ago
Im sorry but consciousness has not been proven to not be in the brain, it's a completely unproven state that many people debate about and there is not a definite answer to what it is, so do not claim that it has been "proven" to be anything because it has not.
kenziestav 2 years ago
firstly i didnt say that consciousness was an unproven state i merely stated the FACT that it has been proven to NOT be a chemical phenomena of the Neurological System in the human body. Sheesh people need to read.

The subject simply interests me but I could care less, and the world is flat example is a perfect example of forces, or subjective realities that you are unaware of right under your very nose . A example of where everyone is blinded by blunt observations, ancient common senses, and foolish know it all arrogance .
First the world is discovered to be round, then perhaps some day next , the next big discovery will be that there is in fact life after death .
idocarepart2 2 years ago 4
This is every bit associated with science, and that is a fact , if you want to look on blindly and ignore all SCIENTIFIC theories then go ahead, but don't ask me to care because to be frank I really don't.
idocarepart2 2 years ago 2
Saying that there is no science in the study of the paranormal is a proven MYTH there is solid evidence against that . These are not children under bed sheets if you searched science paranormal you would see enough theories to even make the truest scientist atleast jump up , open his eyes and be humored in some sort of fun, engaging way even if he thought it was all BS!
It's a proven fact that people are using science in the debate . PROVEN FACT.
idocarepart2 2 years ago 2
Who would want to teach a class about spirits !? Who would want to learn it !? Most people are religious , they don't believe in ghosts !
idocarepart2 2 years ago
The paranormal is not science at all, however there are many including Chris Moon who would have you think otherwise. If we go by sheer amount of discovery using your flat Earth scenario, the paranormal community's Earth would not only be flat but the ship would have already sailed off the edge. Unless you have evidence to present your rant has nothing more than the same old diatribe I have heard thousands of times.
batboy1236 2 years ago
Where's your evidence, batboy?
GraphicsLizard 2 years ago
There's plenty of evidence. Just like there is evidence that you exist, it's simply not understood yet. I don't mean momma's poppa's evolution, I mean existence, period .
Evidence it exists, certainly, but evidence that proves it exists , well how do we define something that can be studied but not understood ? We make it into an experimental science, create fan boy terminology, and theories ....like many other sciences that are actually respected.
Ghosts, ha , most the world is religious !
idocarepart2 2 years ago
The paranormal is not an exact science, but it's still considered to be a science, similar to may other sciences such as time travel, or what other such things that could properly be seen as nonsense, but those things are not nonsense until prove utterly so, or until proven completely other wise . Like many other scientific break throughs before, that were once considered nonsense, this science is still neither proven, nor dis proven .
idocarepart2 2 years ago
The only precise science to skepticism is to remain a skeptic .
Other wise some where along the line you got to start believing then you aren't really a true skeptic anymore. You are then some one looking to confirm a belief .
Most skeptics will deny the strongest spiritual evidence, no matter what , its scientific maybe, is it proper, is it correct, who knows ? I don't ?
I believe, yes, am I wrong to , are there other explanations to my beliefs ?? Sure there are, just like a flat earth
idocarepart2 2 years ago
transmitter , device is unknown , nor is it dis proven .
idocarepart2 2 years ago
Practical thinking is nothing more than the documented , dated science from yesterday , you can'[t be too practical in this world if you ever expect to see any sort of scientific evolution, or break throughs.
Just because you've never seen a ghost does not mean that they haven't seen you . The brain can fool people yes, but I think about 80 percent of what the brain is capable of , and is , IS STILL relevatively unknown to most scientists , and where or not it can serve as a spiritual
idocarepart2 2 years ago
by the nonsense of practical thinking, too much of which never did any one any good.
No one ever got any way in the world being too practical , and literal, because frankly nothing is too practical, literal and nothing is overly natural, and at the root of everything is prob something entirely super natural .
idocarepart2 2 years ago
Yah spirits are creative thinking, but so is the fabrication of such said REALITY, existence, by far way more creative than science, but there are still many connections to science within this "reality" the same could be said for spirits . Just because something doesn't exist , it doesn't mean that it can't , does not exist else where. That is not an immediate justification, but there is plenty of evidence , plenty of science , EVPS from graves, boxes like these, all things that are out weighed
idocarepart2 2 years ago
There is just as much evidence as any other supernatural thing, has it ever occurred to you that by PROPER definition your very existence is unnatural, supernatural ? You are clueless what started the universe , what started IT ALL , this reality is just a big chunk of the super natural by definition . There isn't indisputable evidence of the existence of the shit stain in your under wear, it's just more easy to observe than other beliefs that people doubt, such as the earth once being flat !
idocarepart2 2 years ago
Skeptics would not believe in a ghost if it appeared before them and jerked them off.
idocarepart2 2 years ago
So I'm guessing this has happened to you?
batboy1236 2 years ago
I have seen spirits, I don't claim they were factual sightings but I don't leave out any room for it. Most skeptics won't ever believe even if a ghost came out and wrote his after life biography and showed up to shake his fans hands.
idocarepart2 2 years ago
Then you have a limited knowledge of skepticism, if there was indisputable evidence of the existence of the paranormal. Skeptics would accept it, but like yourself most of the alleged evidence is that of experiences which do not count as evidence. The human mind has the unique ability to fool itself. Couple that with mythology and the paranormal is born. As of this date there is no evidence of the paranormal.
batboy1236 2 years ago
What does belief have to do with the mind, its based on experiences, perception, yes but its not founded off the mind, or the mind does not always need to immediately become an argument , that some sort of mental issues is at bay. If I thought the Earth was round a few 100 years ago, you would say that I was fooling myself based on beliefs . Not the best example but if you're smart, at all you might see some relevance to other current beliefs .
There evidence of spirits, ghosts
idocarepart2 2 years ago
Those behind the design of the box are very intelligent and have one common goal. To get scientists to launch a full scale unlimited reasearch from a scientific level. I highly disbelieve these people are trying to sell you or I anything... more they are trying to get compensation for time spent and components needed to create this simple CB radio, from top shelf investigators and researchers.
kenndaag 2 years ago
Furthermore, I would assume that the microphonic components have been stripped and replaced by other components necessary to amplify the units sensetivity to elecrogmagnetic frequencies, which mind you are all radio frequencies. This box is no hoax... it is a very intelligent design that is finally being tested in the field. Thats all.
kenndaag 2 years ago
I guarantee you, science does not care about two radios scanning in opposite directions creating random noise. This box is not a hoax its merely a fraud. Powered by showmanship. I have seen the schematics for the box believe me there is not much intelligence behind it.
batboy1236 2 years ago
First EVP is a real phenom. and can be duplicated at home with just a simple recorder and microphone. This however seems to just confuse real EVP with an AM VFO. I have yet to hear a real EVP from one of these boxes as of yet but interested.
camhaines 2 years ago
I would go so far as to say the term "real EVP" is a true oxymoron.
batboy1236 2 years ago
This is simple audio pareidolia, Which is the mind's ability to take randomness and turn it into a familiar pattern. This of course has the added feature that Mr. Moon is one of the few who can allegedly translate the random pattern. Very convenient.
batboy1236 2 years ago

Learn science, it will chase the spirits away.

pigcow1 3 years ago
Unbelievable, this is high school psychology the process is pareidolia. It is one of the first sensory processes we are born with, it enables the mind to process randomness and turn it into a familiar pattern. This silly box is doing nothing more than producing a random audio pattern, after a moment or two our minds will begin to pick out familiar phrases out of the randomness. That is what our brains are built to do. I hope no one is giving this guy money!!
