  • its form over fashion that 89 car isn't believable it can't go around corners and is defeated by speed bumps. we have realised the error of our thinking that was from a time when people were thinking they could go fast on city roads…………not anymore now its all urbane assault vehicles the tumbler can go over the curbs and the cars actually, and in real life the prop was actually quite tough and take the hits

  • I wish they used a Batmobile a little more like this one than the one in Nolan's movies.

  • Burton's Batmobile looks more like a Batman car, whereas Nolan's looks more like it was designed simply to be able to kick ass.

  • Actually Cipher619,you didn't make it up.Look it up on wictionary

  • i like the batmobile because unlike other classic cars from comics, it usually is always awesome, whereas for example KITT's new version sucks

  • at 2:40 isn't it odd that the cars have a middle headlight?

  • i'm batman

  • Cool

  • The cop that asks what the car looks like, isn't he the same guy who told Batman to step away from the car?

  • You did a nice job. Choppy but very nice!

  • Keaton's batmobile should not even be associated with this crap.

  • Who are you calling crap?! The new Bat Mobile is equally good! The 1989 Bat Mobile wouldn't have suited or been taken seriously in the 21st century (As you'll see in this video - example). The New Batmobile ("Tumbler") is said to look like a crouching bat. Also, the "face" of the Batmobile resembles Batman's face (Like the first ever Batmobile, not the 1966 television series), such as the windows look like batman's eyes, and the bit in the middle of the two windows resembles bat man's cowl.

  • Somewhat true. The tumbler is not very..... batman-esque? (yeah, i made that word up lol)

Ive been a Batman fan for as long as i can remember, and this Batmobile has been the biggest letdown of all of the movie versions so far (in my opinion). Id take Keaton's over this any day. I am looking forward to seeing what they do for a Batmobile in the next movie

  • In my opinion the Batmobile in the newest filmes is ok! Much better then that crap at the 3. movie - which is looking like a mobile disco!

But the car of the first movie (1989) is admittedly the best...in my opinion.

  • the thumbler and bale, of course

  • hahaah, Batman's Bale is so terrible , awful and funny the same time! I miss Keaton!

  • you mean.. Bale's Batman.

  • You're right! Sorry!

  • Agreed! rideon,Keaton was the man or bat.

  • Keaton vs Ledger.. would have been awsome!

  • adam west was awesome. :)

  • lmao I love that hook chain 1989 batmobile has.

  • nice

  • i saw the tumbler on 5:08 lol

  • Awesome! Nicely conceived and edited! And from so little footage you made a long clip!

    Colour me impressed!

  • the only thing the mercedes was good enough for was a camera platform.

  • Nice splice of footage, you really did an excellent job.

  • Seconded.

It took me a while to realize this was spliced.

I thought, maybe, you had some sort of "lost footage" of the original, or something.

  • I love the 1989 Batmobile, the Tumbler does not capture the look/feeling of Batman so much

  • tumbler is a tank/jeep for soldiers i.e. rambo or even captain america, but Batman is the classiest hero ever, and only mercedes r appropriate for gentlemen

  • What about the Lamborghini? ;)

  • Much more subtle... ;-DDD

  • quite clever

  • I like the 89' batmobile and at first thought the timbler was rubbish (as I only saw the front of a toy version) but then I watched Batman Begins and instantly like the Tumbler

  • Nice piece of editing, fits most of the time.I prefer Burton's build of the Batmobile. The tumbler was cool but I guess I'm a nineties kid.Opinions may vary.

  • i like both, they should have the Batmobile and the Tumbler

    why not???

  • Very nice editing, these two cars are great. The Tumber is like a Hummer with the sports-car features of a Ferrari.

  • REALLY nice edit!

I used to love the Burton Era Batmobile, but I have to confess that I now prefer the Tumbler... It looks like it can do the job :)

  • '89 Batmobile kicks ass, best one ever.

  • Watching this footage, you can cearly see how impractical the '89 version is, despite how insanely awesome it is.

  • The best batmobile ever made!

and a really very good video!!!

  • this is the only batmobile that has made me nearly have a orgasm while watching it, its so fucking beautiful and awsome.

  • ı want this batmobile back in the batman's new film but his car is SUV again(rubbish)

  • 1989 batmoblie is best

  • i admire your hard work

  • That was EXCELLENT editing!

  • it´s fantastic,nice work

  • nice.

  • wow nice

  • best batmobile... no question

  • I don't know... batman killing cops and plowing through innocent civilians cars?

  • in that scene the batmobile was being controlled by Penguin

  • And that is why I called you a retard. You must be the receiving end of insults.

  • EL VIDEO ESTA MALISIMO

  • ooga booga what?

  • when the hell did he go ooga booga? It's called Spanish.

  • retard

  • Yeah I'm the retard yet you thought he said ooga booga when that wasn't even remotely close.

  • Batman is suppose to drive a car, not a tank. Batman Begins is a very good movie, but i think they coulda made a better Batmobile design, i don't know if any of you watched Batman TAS, but I really liked the Batmobile from that series, they should try to replicate that design and use that in a future movie or somethin

  • I think they were going for a more realistic feel to the new batman. I like the new car, its a much more practical design. The Batmobile from the Tim Burton films wouldn't be able to turn sharp corners in reality.

  • totally agree

  • The 89 batmobile is the best batmobile ever..the best design from the style of batman....Fuck all that says that is a gay design...Fuck All..

  • If you ever want a good model of the batmobile, get the hotwheels diecast model 1:18. Its one of my favorites.

  • Anyone have the regular version of the chase scene? Pissing me off that this is the only one on here.

  • same here

  • can anyone send me a video where he is just screaming rachel over and over?

  • Dude...wtf. That Batmobile looks like a piece of shit. NO MUSCLE!!!

  • But it sure looks smarter than the tumbler

  • Okay. The '89 Batmobile was awesome. As was the movie. But Nolan wanted to take a more realistic view at Batman. I think, if Batman WERE to exist, he would most likely drive around the Tumber more than a fancy sports car. He needs speed, steath, protection, and weaponry. I think the Tumbler will do better in nearly all of those categories than the original Batmobile would have done.

  • The old one is way faster and it does have more gadget. A smarter car.

  • good editing.

  • Always hated the 89 batmobile in terms of its ultra gay design. The tumbler is by far and away the BEST set of wheels for batman to ply his trade in. All the other faggot designs from Keaton to clooney were abominations !! At last they got it right with the tumbler!! IT RULES SUPREME!!!..fuck the nay sayers !!!!!

  • I like the Tumbler. It looks cool. BUT.........the 1989 Batmobile is STILL the best looking car ever

  • I liked the old one better to

  • this is very ridiculous the '89 till '95 batmobile's are thousand times pritier than that failed tank

  • I rarely comment on anyones page, but I must say that this edit was VERY good (minus a couple of breaks of the 180 degree rule)

  • LMFAO! What a silly edit! I love it!

  • I really love this batmobile, but I little bit prefer the tumbler for the kind of movie Batman Begins is...

  • i still love the old batmobile better.

  • Very COOL!!!!!! Well done.

  • Nice

  • Tumbler is way better. So sick.

  • the Burton Batmobile just sucks royally! Why should Batman drive a sportscar!? He needs a frikkin' tank! Love the tumbler! Vastly superior to any other batmobile design, even if I kinda liked the one from the animated show.

  • very cool! i do love the old batmobile

  • na,it doesn't go with the movie.

  • Was some of this footage Even in the two tim burton batman movies?

  • theres also One Star ads footage

  • actualy i dont remember some of that footage either

  • Nice twist, I like it!

  • I dont know who DOOGEE is but I hope he edits the new Batman film slated for 2008.
