  • My first ever flight in 1958 aged 3, was on a TWA Connie from Athens to Rome....still remember it vividly, my dad was a ground mechanic for them for 13years....

  • Excellent. Thanks.

  • Reminds me of my trip in 1956 (I was 7) on a TWA Connie from Chicago to LAX for my grandparents' 50th wedding anniversary. I got to go to Disneyland and was pretty hot stuff back in our small town in Michigan. We were "tourist" and had box lunches too. I still have the tickets and the pictures taken with my Kodak Brownie camera! Peace and thanks for posting!

  • Thank you very much...Very nice........

  • And then a week-long way back by train :-DDDD

  • That pilot might be my late father! We have very few photos of him in EAL uniform. Can you tell me the date and route of this flight? I think I can get the tail number from the film. Thanks. You can look me up on Facebook or Twitter to respond.

  • flying is not that fun today.
