To understand the difference between heaven and hell is the true message. They both exist , it's up to you as an individual to decide which way you want to go. Tony is telling you straight . Throw the bullshit away and repent.
@marvy1118 What's really awsome is you can hear the similarities in the two songs. Few people realize that the Beatles were one of Ozzy's biggest musical influences. He's just covered John Lennon's How, and Imagine was the inspiration behind Dreamer. Ozzy's metal don't get me wrong, but he's always admired the Beatles.
@BennythyKid Who didn't stand a chance? Sabbath or the Beatles? Both of them were huge! You do realize that Sabbath is the only Heavy Metal band that has continually performed together for over 40 years, right? OzzFest sells out anyway, but you can't even get in when Sabbath are scheduled to play together. The Beatles well we know the legend of the Beatles. Both Sabbath and the Beatles stood a chance, they revolutionized music in their own awsome way.
-Do bands like Zeppelin, Floyd, The Doors, Hendrix and the Who give you chills? Are you physically attracted to seeking truth in music? Well I am formally inviting you to take a listen to my channel, relax and let you ears fully enjoy my sound. I would love it if you took the time, they wont leave you disapointed. And in case if you end up liking it, your subscribtion to my channel will help me show the world my music. Much Love.
Sure you can scream, sure you can tune to drop god-knows-what, sure you can crank the gain on your amp or go ape shit with the distortion, but that all does NOT make you metal. THIS is the definition of metal! The darkness, the raw emotion is what makes this real metal, not screaming like an emo bitch. Horns up to Sabbath.
...........and so we were so glommy and doomy...Geezer the bassman said " Hey men why don't we called Black Sabbath???" .....and so we called our shelves Black Sabbath.....and here is the song that we call.......BLACK SABBATH thank you........
Could you imagine: the late 60's and the beatles went all fruity, the charts were ruled by the turtles and this album came out. I think the hippies would have all run off a cliff trying to get this monster riff out of their heads..
@killervoodooo OK, you now have an appointment with evil and death. They will be visiting you within the week. Please make all your final arrangements.

Hey, Religious people and Art lovers. What would you say about this video? View the video I attached - The Mysterious Supper (Biggest Masterpiece Ever)
the auidence in this concert has no idea what they just sow , the sickest song and the greatest solo ever , from the kings of heavy metal , i'd wish i was there , =)
Watch the video of the song "Black Sabbath" from 1970. Then watch this one. Ozzy looks old and creepy in this video, compared to the 70 version. Tony, Geezer and Bill look older but normal. I was 15 in 1970 and like the older stuff better.
i like the fire and steem affect, ozzy's scary face and not to mention ton's guitar solo towards the end.. absolute epic greatness. happy 420 all..enjoy that sweet leaf!
Yes...the other video on here from Paris 1970. Iommi playing a blood red SG with a crucifix round his neck. The summer of Love was over and the millenium of despair began...
No, that would be a embarrisment to the original 8. Nothing, not matter how hard they tried, would match those at all. It was the time period in which they were made which effected there sound - nowadays it would sound to much like Ozzy solo career.
yeah i know. i'd love for them to put out another album with ozzy too. i just didn't want you to miss out on another great album with dio. how was that concert by the way. i've never got to see them live with dio yet.
The most sinister song ever. Must have scared the living shit out of all the religious folk at the time. So dark and powerful! If only some band today would have what it takes to create something as heavy and groovy as this.
yeah, now there's just a bunch of black metal bands with guys who think barking is gonna scare anyone. Oh god, surely that's how hell sounds like, as if everyone was sick of the troath lol
Well actually it began with Led Zeppelin, or rather before they became LZ. Ozzy was at a concert with LZ, and when it was over, he talked to his guitarist, and asked him "Did you hear how heavy they where?" Guitarist replied "we are gonna be heavy'er....." *not exact quotes, but the point is there :) But yes, Black Sabbbath took it to a new level, and fuelled the fire of heavy rock. Later to become Heavy Metal :)

Drummer (i think must be Bill Ward) did this song justice. Past drummers messed up this song. Its so good to hear this song the way it was meant to sound like. Ozyy RULES

Rock on Tony Iommi!!
The only one who was always in the band, fromEarth till Ozzy got sacked, and now with Heaven And Hell.

Didn't Tony leave the band, to play with Jethro Tull, for a bit??
