nah, saban brought in a whole new crop of recruits, and also utilized the few good ones that were already there

@omanasee Saban inherited a 3-8 Dinardo team at LSU and a 6-7 Shula team at Alabama both from long tenured coaches and turned them both into a champions. Les miles inherited a very successful program 1 year removed from a championship.
