You need to put the filter BEFORE the fan. Otherwise, the fan will build up some residue from the fumes and get stinky :P

You demonstrated it backwards is why it blew the smoke at you rather than sucking it up. Need to have the filter, and it needs to be facing the source of smoke. (As well as the air flow sucking through it.)

You have the fan and filter the wrong way round. Its supposed to suck air through the filter and no just try and push it through :)

Dude, from what I see the fume is going around the case not inside. Btw put a filter in there 'cause otherwise you just throw the fumes elsewhere in the room, where you can still inhale them later. Nonetheless looks nice. :)

Lets assume you followed every step kipkay did. If so, you had the fan placed in correct, but when you demoed this, you had the case backwards. The filter was located on the back of the case. So no smoke made it inside. That and I think you got the LED just to show off, but hey, who am I to judge? lol.
