  • Highly evocative - 5* Thanks for sharing!

  • Thanks NN2Blue. It's a test of upscaling to work with the new YouTube screen size, but I think they are still developing the platform. I tend to like the smaller but sharper 'watch in high quality' screen size especially on material like this, shot on DV Cam. That morning was just one of those magic moments when the light was just right, during the shooting of Sir Nigel Gresley on the Mainline, for BNT Productions. Thanks again. P

  • Have you tried converting the files into "mock" HD using a program such as AVS - MPEG 2 720p? I get a nice effect converting .mov files. Only did it because for some reason You Tube stopped offering automatic HQ on my original .mov uploads. :-) Mike

  • Sounds like a good strategy. My test upload was 1280x720 upscaled as a .mov file. Still looks a bit raggy. I'll try your suggestion Mike - thanks. Patrick

  • Patrick, Use the "advanced" option and select Aspect 16:9 or the resulting file will not fill the screen when uploaded.

  • Thanks Mike

  • Has it worked OK?

  • Have yet to try. Will let you know Mike
