Most of you must be stupid as shit. Obviously with those lights on it has to be a new computer. You can't have that much shit on and that car be running. I have a 2008 Silverado and I have a brand new computer put into it that was tuned with HPtuners. Every now and then it throws a dumbass code and the check engine light comes on. Nothing else. He just has to configure the computer more to turn the lights off. Lulz.

its cause all these people have never done a turbo on a OBDII engine. when you start to mess with the engine management and swapping out rear ends and fuel delivery you get dash lights on it. it has nothing to do with how this car runs at all. the stock computer goes out the window, you will run a piggy back or an aftermarket computer. when he swapped out the rear, the traction con. and ABS light came on. then new comp. check engine came on do some searching or do a turbo before bitching

i am getting a single 67mm turbo z28 ls1 today its a auto but has two different programmers one for trans and one for motor and its not a cheap turbo kit but the turbo is bad.. which i have a t70 2 go on it its got injectors and fuel rail and fuel pump. im getting it for $2000 cause of the turbo but its a 2000model and i was wonderin if thts a good deal??? im a mustang guy and want someone to tell me a lil bout ls1s give me a call if you kno ur way around them plzz 8644265329

Just replaced a radiator hose cause of overheating but thats it.

@hotstud4eva ses light is normally tripped on when people change the exhaust and dont get a tune. The oxygen sensors dont get the reading they are suppost to so it throws the light on. Mine also has the low coolant sensor on. (its full of coolant)

Be safe in your 93 z because those things are cop magnets. They also attract idiots wanting to race. Anyways to summarise, if you start modding your car without thinking about the computer, it trip the lights.

@donwonjon420 Don't worry....if you Google "police interceptor", there's plenty of Z28 people who did the math and found out there's no way in Hell that a Crown Vic (even the new ones) could sprint even with a N/A Z28. (As to outlasting the Crown Vics, hell no, the Vic wins hands down. But cop cars aren't drag racers....this Z28 could outrun it in the city, on the highway, wherever.)

I wouldn't run from the cops though come 2012. The new Caprice PPV with the LS3 will own all the racers. ;)

i think thats a turbo fire not a back fire . my supercharged lt1 would spit fire every gear change due to the lack of cats .100 % stock motor 6 lbs 400 rwhp and 400 rwft.lbs 11.8 on slicks not bad for a lt1 with 6lbs and a set of headers .
