When it comes to riffs like the one at 0:44 do you pick inbetween the strings or from the outsides. (like do you pick downward on the e string and up on the higher notes or do you pick upward on the e string and downward on the higher notes). I cant tell if this matters but I usually stay between the strings and I was curious what you do in this situation? and is your decision just based on how you played this in the past or is there an advantage?

@Vindettacon i hit the E-string with downstrokes and the other strings with upstrokes during that riff. that's how i prefer to play because it's easiest for me, i'm not a good picker when it comes to crossing strings and it's easiest to just chug down on the lowest string like a motherfucker :) and you're welcome, i'm glad you like them!

@Vindettacon also during that riff i'd say playing like that is a definite advantage, since there are two quick notes in succession on the E-string which i sure as fuck wouldn't be able to play with upstrokes. and alt picking them would simply lack balls, in both sound and tightness.
