You keep mentioning your annoyance at the lack of stat customization - so I thought I'd address that. The devs did this so that the way to customize your stats would be through loot/gear - the main aspect of the game. There wasn't truly any customization in D2 anyway, everyone just put most of their points into Vitality. Gems in D3 are focused on stat customization now - you can think of them as your points to allocate instead if you're looking for a less random option than gear properties!
@Larwick You are absolutely correct. I remember mentioning something of the sort in one of my videos as well :P. My problem is not so much with the stat customization (And in this case I'm speaking of attributes) but skill points. I found teh Diablo II skill tree system to be fantastic, so you could make your character unique, in your ow way. I completely understand that now you hve MORE customizing power due to the Skill Runes (A choice of 5 runes to customize each ability is awesome!)
@B1naryCha0s Ah fair enough. Keep up the videos they're pretty good. I like that you start from scratch each time - it gives a better feel of how the game will be. People like Force, although good, tend to grab the best things from their stash first off - and I feel kinda cheated.
weird lag towards beginning of vid the changes they made to the wizard are better now they resource seems more expendable than before which was a huge factor due to the fact they can solo easily now their survival is geared more towards resource usage.
