  • you need some braid when fishing hollow frogs. But since you were in open water it's fine.

  • @mrcoach33 OOOOHH thank you so much!!!! I am so thankful for all the professional advice i can get from pussies in the comment box!!!

  • @sneakyfellow wow ! So touchy !

All I did was recommend you use braid with the hollow body frogs.

I didn't call names or make ant disrespectfull comment(s) ! I want too now but , I'm a man not a child so enjoy the fishing and I hope your line stays tight !!

  • love fishin man especially with top water early in the mornin. love it man and good filmin and good fishin.

  • you're a good fisherman. Thanks for filming.

Now, I want to go fishing!

  • every last one of those bass absolutely inhaled the frog.. they must have been real hungry or frogs are a staple diet in that pond/lake.

  • were in the hell are u fishing

  • Great job of letting them take it in before setting the hook.

  • oh yeah just picked me up a Koppers frog as well, was using the spro bronzeye frog this last year and it did great until a Pike came and bit it off and the frog was no more... :/

  • 1. what pound test line r u using.

    2. is that a loyola jacket?

  • Those live target baits work great. Thanks for sharing! I needed that in this cold winter day. Can't wait to get back out on the water.

  • what kinda rod is that

  • Would you recommend a Bronzeye frog or Kopper's?

  • -Fish: A FROOGG!! MINE!

    -Bite-

    -Fish: OMFG WTF IS THIS SHIIIT ;___;

  • awesome catches, what was the weight on the frog? I see they come in 3 sizes. Also where are you located (if you don't mind me asking)?

    - Jack

  • I went fishing at Lopez Lake and used the wrong fishing rod and line. Didn't catch a thing. Nice fishes by the way!

  • Beautiful fish, great video!

  • My God son you were killin' em'. Outstanding vid keep em' coming!

  • What camera do you use?

  • What is the name of the frog lure your using?

  • @Thompson6352 Koppers Live Target, it is so good!

  • I agree w/ mr outdoors man . At our place there all torn up . I caught a 9 1/2 pounder with half of a tail

  • thos r nice they r really healthy

  • i bet when you hit that spot u were "Oh yeah!!"

  • I love chucking frogs in the pads here in Upstate NY - what an exciting way to catch the big boys!!

  • nice!!!!

what kind of camera are you carrying? Is it a HD gopro?

  • must be rough to fish a private pond.

  • I love that none of the bass hit the frog, they ate it!

  • Live target lures rock

  • Man that place looks pretty eerie when the fog rolls in...

  • Just because you're using a frog doesn't mean you automatically use braid. He's fishing open water so braid is completely unnecessary.

  • looks like a great spot

  • I like...

  • where is that? Your so lucky you live near there.

  • Man huge bass!!

  • beautiful morning with beautiful fish!

  • @mrnetbait123, usually braid is used for algae moss or lily pads.

  • Keep that pond a secret don't tell anyone about it

  • they walk better with braid...

  • he went 2 bass pro shops

  • you have one awesome camera

  • top!

  • oh and btw how durable is the koppers live target frog???

  • OK i have to admit you are THE BEST frog fisherman iv'e seen on you-tube!!!

  • what size test line are you using

  • i have that lure it is amahzing i absutley love it i just got a 13 lb 4oz last week

  • @earlie666 They can be fished many different ways. I personally like to twitch twitch twitch, lower the rod tip and reel in the slack, pause for a few seconds and repeat with a random pattern of twitches. However ive seen people successfully twitch and reel at the same time with only a couple short pauses.

  • thats amazing fishing right there! thats bass heaven!

  • You should have put your left fist into that third bass' mouth man...giant fish

  • The only ad I will watch entirely is State Farm..........like a good neighbor, state farm is there! with an entertaining youtube video!

  • may i suggest you use braid?

  • Very nice fishing! :)

  • at 4:41 holy shit past

  • Someone respond to me:Can you eat bass?

  • @Fishingpro313 You can but I personally dont like the taste and dont know very many people that do. But i know you can deep fry it and its alright but i would catch and release the bass instead

  • very nice. where you fishing? that place is beautiful

  • fella's who land bass like that hold there shit however they want. boom

  • ooh looks tasty!

  • nice job buddy but ur holding da pole rong

  • @bustinjustin97 hes using a baitcaster, thats how you hold it, look it up.

  • what time of day was this?

  • nice catch, do u suggest that i use a leader when I frog fish?

  • Good catch

  • the first fish totally swallowed that frog!!! Great Vid

  • where do u buy one of those froggies

  • What size is ur frog?

  • hey what kind of rod and reel u got ?

  • this is awesome video i really like it. just a quick question . how can i cast far like you man? i got megacast 6'6ord 17lb excel mono

  • @fencerkyo well for starters if you're frog fishing, put braid on your reel. also, longer rods mean farther casts. if you want to cast farther with that specific setup, loosen your tension and turn your brakes off/down on your reel.

  • All the bass you caught with the frog ANNIHILATED it like kopper said it would.

  • You have the coolest river I HAVE EVER SEEN MAN!!!!!

  • what kind of rod and reel were you using and where were you fishing?

  • what line were you using?

  • Pretty area and good fishing!

  • looking for a boat

    any suggestions?

  • @Bobkov97 I suggest getting a cheap little canoe and adding a motor as a start, unless you are going offshore fishing too, like me.

  • topwater lures.. are weights needed to help cast farther?

  • @Unplugged704 Not at all. Some are weighted on the bottom to keep upright.

  • dayum bro you have a beautiful spot too fish.your lucky man im from chicago not much around here.where ya from if ya dont mind me asking? happy fishing!

  • so peaceful.

  • wat u should do is just record when u have the fish in the boat

  • @TheLiLSalsa no i like to see the fight

  • @t78830 ikr

  • where is it exactly where your fishing?

  • Awesome vid ! the weather looks perfect what do you like more the live target or spro bronzeye im debaiting which one so far im leaning to the kopper

  • Almost bought one of those.... but I needed new line, so I got that.... Well, I know what I'm buying next time :)

  • beautiful bass there, I wish the ones over here were that big. I'm in MD, not sure if they grow that bug here in these little lakes but I love catching them.

  • why dont you eat them????

  • @TheZzZBulletz alot of people, when they catch a big bass, they let it back in the water for a couple of reasons, 1 is so others can catch that big bas, 2 so they can continue to live and grow more. people usally like to keep the small-medium sized ones to eat, cause there simple and small, and helps keep bigger bass in the water

  • @potctk okay thx havent seen those reasons ;)

  • LURES + BOAT + TIME OF DAY + LOCATION= A GREAT DAY OF FISHING!

  • @New83York man i cant wait to go fishing on a boat, we just got one, but i got to wait another week and a half befor its ready and everythings go to go. its not exactly a huge crusie ship, but its a nice little boat, go enough for fishing and and all that stuff. until then, im fishing from shore

  • MAN, nice size HAWGS.

  • what kind of popper are you using? sounds like you said "karma one popper" ?

    thanks :)

  • Very nice video, good job angler!

  • Great video man!! I need some serious assistance here. I got this frog recently and it kicks butt in the mornings near the lilly pads bass slam it but I cannot hook them. I swear I've had mornings where I had 12-15 monster hits on this but none stayed on. Should I set the hook immediately on the blow up or wait a couple seconds? I've tried different ways but it seems like either the bass are missing it or spitting the frog out after a second after they hit it.

    Any suggestions?

  • @Lion736899 I'd say wait a few seconds to set the hook , because you have to let the fish pretty much swallow the frog , so when you set hook, it it get stuck deep and stays . hope it helps :)

  • @Lion736899

Man you need to give em 3 to 5 seconds before setting the hook.

And remember to set the hook hard, jerk the hell out of it.

  • @bigskyman64 3-5 is a lil too long

  • Dude, sick video! I love those mournings. It's like being in a dream you just woke up from. Love those bass, but I have to settle for pike and catfish in my spot. Hope to see more videos! Peace.

  • I used a live frog once, but after a while it drowned on itself, and I didn't catch a damn but stuck with a dead frog....
