I remember a few years ago when I was 9 years old I hated and feared this level. It was so frustrating and hard to beat. I guess thats what makes it fun!

Did anyone else ever notice how the sound effect for the lights on the machine thing would change every now and again? I would play this level, beat it, play another one, then come back to this one and the sound effect changed for the lights. Sometimes it made the clinking sound like it's doing here then other times it sounded more like a digital beeping.

@klb084 Yeah I noticed that too. Usually it changes after entering the bonus room. Atleast that's what I found. I never got why it did that, probly just a little glitch.

The interesting thing about this level is if the machine runs out of juice and you're on a platform you will be stuck there disappointed in yourself and lose a life for some reason.

For how tense it gets, this was like, always my favorite level in DKC1. I was waiting for it to show up (it's been a while, so I forgot when it the game it came up). Heh heh, good stuff.
