Dioneshontia, or whatever you call yourself, are you for or against Kenya being peaceful?
This fight is not politically instigated. What happenned on the 27th of Dec last year is not the cause of this, I believe that this is resentment, resentmenet that has grown into monstrous proportions. If Kibaki rigged the elections, how did his fellow Kikuyu who lives a normal life in Kisumu help him do so?
I agree, this issue about ppl vs. ppl or tribe vs. tribe is so sad and pathetic. Many Luo's voted Kibaki just as many Kikuyu's voted Raila. You cannot assume that just because they are from the same tribe as ODM or as PNU that they are necessarly supporters of that group. And attacking them isn't going to help anything. These ppl need to get their heads together and find a way to deal with this.
Obama & Odinga are on the cutting edge of the global jihad. The Luos are Arab Muslims (sometimes 'Christian' for political expediency). The Luos have risen to the top of US and African politics on the backs of African blacks. For 40+ yrs, they were jailed/thrown out of Kenyan govt, were given political asylum & top-rate educations in the US, organized to affect Kenyan govt from here, then expanded to US politics. Good scam. To gain power, they killed in Kenya... in the US people follow as sheep.
right now they r taking guns away from non kikuyu and kamba, odm komboa l.r.a and kony as the acholi r direct luo cousins alete bunduki, hakuna kurudi nyuma now or forever be their slaves.
Even if a Luo is over heard discussing politics with another he is removed from the force because he is now a "threat". This is causing so many problems and in no time we are going to be seeing a revolution among members in the police force. This can very easily turn into the same type of situation Sierra Leone faced in the 90's.
wen people r meeting annan the muthafucka kibaki is transporting mungiki to eldoret, ruto fagia yote luos tushawasukuma kutoka nyanza ruto safisha wafike naivasha halafu maasai take over sukuma hadi central cause nairobi pia ni ya maasai.until they learn to respect other kenyans.
as a luo its plain simple kikuyus dont understand any language wen british wanted kenyatta to rot in jail he refused how did kenyatta thank him wat about mboya,in 90s wen ford was to remove moi who spoilt it matiba, luos voted for kibaki 3 piece, wat have kiuks done for luos kill and frustrate, saizi enough is enough kenya vs central .
No, the fighting started because people who disagreed with something, instead of deciding to respond in a civil manner, started acting like monkeys (though that actually might be an insult to monkeys, at least they generally don't kill each other even though they fight to settle disputes). In any case, my point was that you are being hypocritical - claiming to want Kenya to come together whilst trying to create more hostilities
jbgk07 I do not know where this man gets his info from but he is a true nigger in the sense. 9/11 is more complex than you think, evidently you do not live in America, and why do you have a problem with the truth... you must be eating with the liars!
also i'd like to point out that during the terrorist attacks of 9/11, the american media in particular avoided showing images of americans with blood gashing out of their bodies but when it comes to africans they would go as far as to show people killing each other like its an animal documentary. think about it.
my you tube plea would be to all kenyans in the diaspora...don't believe all you see in the international media.first of all i agree the rigging claims are justified.but the perseption portrayed is that kibaki got only a handfull of votes. in hon.raila's own assessment, kibakis votes were inflated by close to 300,000 votes.this would live both candidates with over 4 million votes each. so please for the best news watch ntv news on you tube ie on ntvkenya on you tube.
Thank you for enlightening us who want to know the "full" story. Somehow, our local media miscontrues much of the coverage that gives the root cause of the actions/ reactiond at hand. Keep informing! Peace, Love and Unity.
The international community is very much aware that Mwai Kibaki and his Party of National Unity (PNU) rigged the December 2007 Kenyan presidential election.
The list of evidence of election irregularities compiled in this petition contains widely known facts and has been corroborated by various news sources All polls taken before the election favored Raila Odinga and his party, the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), with Odinga leading Kibaki by a margin of 4%. A mid-December report by the government's own intelligence service gave Raila Odinga an even larger lead of 8% to 15%
over Mwai Kibaki. As the election drew near, the Steadman poll, which is conducted under the leadership of George Waititu, a close friend of Kibaki's, showed Kibaki catching up to Odinga although the total for the three leading candidates added up to 101%
Prior to Mwai Kibaki's secretive swearing in ceremony, the Kenyan government suspended all live television broadcasts. Coverage of post-election violence, including the government's use of armed police in suppressing demonstrators, has therefore been difficult to verify
Finally, tallies reported by the ECK differed from those announced at polling stations and on television news broadcasts. The New York Times reports that, "The European Union said its observers in one constituency last week witnessed election officials announce that President Kibaki had won 50,145 votes, but on Sunday the election commission increased those same results to 75,261 votes."
As members of the international community, we do not intend to allow this blatant act of disregard for the rule of law and for the will of the people of Kenya to go unchallenged.
Whichever way you look at it over 10 million people voted. The big two got over 4 million each with Kalonzo nearing the 1 million mark. Kalonzo was definately the spoiler. By the way there serious election irregularities in luo nyanza just as in central kenya. Look at alego for example...it might help with your pain
I agree wid you here Rafiki. Serious rigging had gone on in Luo majority provinces. Look at Kisumu where the trouble started before the election counts were finished. Does it mean this was a taste of things if ODM truly took over Kenya? Rioting, looting & murder? Sorry, I'm only interested in haing my Kenya back as it was. We are children of Kenya & are one.
Mjinga Raila needs to be jailed for killing of all them kids, women etc I'm not a Kibaki fan but Kenya under Raila would be like Ukraine. Any1 heard of the Orange Revolution? Yeah..thts wat Mjinga Odinga wants. we Kneyans want our Kenya back the way it was minus Raila's majimboism. This crook has been supported by UK & US & wat has Mjinga given people in Kibera? Flying toilets only..what a fukin joker. And he wants to lead the nation?
Kibaki should stay but the people who voted for Raila will never forget. A big learning experience. If kibaki goes people will forget and forgive and maybe Kenyatta will win the next one. I hope Kibaki will do the right thing for the kikuyu people
All Kenyan's elected Raila Odinga as president of kenya.Mwai kibaki stole the votes. What is happening in kenya to day is because, kenyan's are entitled to contutionally elect their President.Kibaki is in office illegally. He needs to step down.Without kibaki ,there is peace.
your bias is way obvious...by the way kibaki was sworn on 30th dec 2002.there could have been a constitutional crisis if a new president was not sworn in by 30th dec 2007. who knows what more could have happened...the results raised a number of red flags acroos the board.the greatest of course from central kenya.you should instead direct your anger to hon. kalonzo musyoka because he run for the job knowing very well he was not going to win. his one million votes would have made the difference.
are you saying i should redirect my anger from kibaki?? hell no! that man is a cheat! he deserves all my anger. I don't deal well with fraud!! of course my bias was obvious. this is my channel, these are my views, this is for my kenyans. i can have any P.O.V i want in here this, my friend, is it! kibaki is a complete fool to think ppl would accept this so called 'win'.
Kibaki a quiet, softly spoken 76-year-old, with a first-class degree from the London School of Economics, he is no caricature African tyrant you are trying to potray him to be.
ITS THE ECONOMY STUPID!a 6.1% in economic growth from 0.4%,per capita income up from $400 to $630,poverty reduction from 56.8% to 46.0,2 million more kids in primary school...Kenya's budget is supported 95% from internal resources.(UG-56% TZ-40%)
sorry i'm not kikuyu, nor am i from 'mt. kenya'. i'm just a kenyan. not a politician but an economist.look at kenyas economic rating from the world renowned standards and poor.
sorry i'm not kikuyu, nor am i from 'mt. kenya'. i'm not a kibaki sympathiser, but the figures speak for themselves 2 million people have been lifted from absolute poverty since 2003.
By the way , Kibaki was only in power since 1997 and not 2002.
I hope the Raila supporters will calm down, even Raila cannot change their feelings. They voted and they wanted a change. If the kalenjin could be dissapinted with Arap Moi until they burned his properties in Baringo then something has gone wrong.
it is not about what tribe is prevailing and which tribe is a thief..coz its every innocent Kenyan who is dying and atti over these corruptions that are soo foolishly conducted...
A source from inside the country tells me that Odinga is organizing a million man march in the center of Nairobi - in the face of Kibaki and his guns. Any news about this???
Marion Jones, Ben Johnson, Justin Gatlin. What do these four have in common? They 'won' Olympic gold medals by cheating through taking performance enhancing drugs.
Once discovered, they were stripped off their 'wins' and medals and punished.
Why should Kibaki be rewarded for stealing and cheating in the election?
All those were found to have cheated through the established procedures of discovery, not because some crazies started killing innocent people and destroying property about it. If any lawfully established body decided that Odinga won th presidency, you would be correct to make your claims. Until then, the ECK, which has the sole mandate of declaring who is the president, has declared Kibaki to be the winner. Kenya is a country of laws, not a country of anarchy as ODM would like to make it.
men the rich are kikuyus they stand to loose alot they just dont know not all are thieves but the ones who cling to power are thieves arrogant, and this blood shed will be like ruwanda in the army we have all tribes, and belive me they are divided cause kibaki stole the kenyans peoples freedoom not yet uhuruu thats all, i can say in my heart raila omolo odinga is the new president of kenya even all internatinal community say so
This is hard to take in . To all those who are 'appalled' at the violence: nations have never been built in sand. A stolen election does no favours to KENYA. Mwai Kibaki MUST NOT GET AWAY WITH IT. Stopping him may necessarily mean lives lost, but what can you do? Was he so naive as to think he could steal it at the vote counting stage, swear himself-in, quell the few noises and then all is biz as usual? Freedom has never come cheap. SHAME TO MWAI KIBAKI.
wait a minute if i remember raila was leading by a million votes damn how come kibaki got more than one million votes to pass raila while raila just sat there no votes counted on his side does that makes sense hello?? and then kivuitu does this crackin jokes now he wants forgiveness??
My heart always yearns for that which is just and true. I am sdden that the voting was rigged...and the true winner of the elections will never be found out. My heart is sick for this country.
Can't sign petition since it requires I believe Kibaki has rigged the election. I don't know. However I am suspicious. I am Ethiopian. In 2005 hundreds died in Ethiopia mostly from Government bullets. The country was left deeply divided and bitter. Major opposition leaders who clearly won election for the assembly were imprisoned. Kenya is a flicker of hope. Please don't go that route.
If you deduct the 300,000 votes from kibaki's total, You will have a balance of over 4,000,000 voted for kibaki. Now please explain to our brothers and sisters who the over 4,000,000 voters were.were they not kenyans?what about the almost 1,000,000 who voted for kalonzo Musyoka are they not kenyans also.
i understand that they are angry but how does killing each other and burning the country down help???? so stupid. this is why africa cant develop because of poeple like this. you go out and riot and loot and butcher other ethnic group plus burn the city down.....you damn right you should be shot!. what country would allow this to happen. just because your angry. i mean damn why are you taking out your anger on the infrustractor of your own country? you live in it. go after the government.
Kibaki and the so called MT.KENYA Mafia definately rigged the elections, according to BBC on Dec. 24th 2007 he appointed 6 new judges to the high court of Kenya.Jan. 1st 2008 Ms Martha Karua Justice and Consitutional Minister tells ODM to use legal chanels to challenge the election results. The Kibaki gov. can not even hold a free and fair election with millions of pple all over the world watching what kind of hearing is ODM going to have in the courts saturated with Kibaki friendly judges!!!!
Free and fair elections are only found in Israel, ask Al Gore.
What we need to understand is that there is a lot of unnecessary bloodshed on the streets and power hungry Raila, should do what's right for the country and concede.
Most of those fighting and looting are career hooligans who are taking advantage of the situation for their own economic benefit. I'm glad President Kibaki has unleashed the Fanya Fujo Uone.
this unnessesary bloodshed could have been avoided had kibaki NOT RIGGED THE ELECTIONS! you continue to fail to see where the real injustice is here!!!!!!!!!!!
Pure incitement and misrepresentation of facts. Spreading hate and then pointing fingers. Who incited the burning of those innocent souls in church??? Was it not your messiah Odinga with his cheerleaders Ruto and Ntimama?? I can see you have learnt well from your master. May you burn in Hell!!
I compeletely agree wit u man..there r two sides to every coin..and the sad thing is that in this case the better rigger won!..
if you anything about the elections..which i do..i watched them for 3-4 days non-stop..albeit with alot of drinking involved..you'd know the precious messiah Raila also stole votes..
Plain and simple facts..hard for some to understand, especially when they know nothing of kenyan politics..and its myriad players.
just by reading this i can say you come from a rich family in Africa. don't forget what goes around back around, today is yours but what about your offsprings?
tukuniata you are right! A rich family..you might even say a 'political' family..that is why he is talking this way!!!! his famililes pockets get filled by kibaki's govnt!
President Kibaki sensing defeat used every tool in his power to frustrate the results. He learned well.
If Odinga has any leadership in him, he should accept this outcome, calm his supporters and wait for the next 5 yrs President Kibaki waited for 40 yrs
Raila's leadership solidified after the murder of Ouko. Fingers were pointed in the wrong direction, yet none ever stopped to wonder who the ultimate beneficiary was.
Odinga must wait and call off his bitter supporters.
kenya does not have the time to sit back and wait five years for things to change! It is crucial to the people of kenya that changes occur immediately! Kibaki had his five years to show kenya, and the world what he can do...he failed. and when the people tried to show him that by voting against him he cried like a small boy and rigged the elections!
Fueled by his family's ambitions and his selfish interests, Raila is inciting Kenyans to demonstrate and fight a futile battle to reverse the outcome of the election.
Pres. Kibaki is not a fool; he'd explored this scenario earlier and established the alliances that mattered; just take a look at the action on the streets and you will understand what I mean. Bloodshed!
Odinga should confer with Al Gore and do what is right for the country Concede
now this all we need now...reconciliation!!...Kenya is bigger than Raila and Kibaki and I believe we know better than slashing peoples throats open or burning churches with people in it...lets spread the LOVE and PEACE we deserve!!..
agreed! ppl need to stand back and look at what they are doing to eachother. last week they would have been celebrating christmas in the local bars together, and tonight they threaten each other with their lives....... this is not the kind of behaviour that was supposed to come out of these elections!
IT IS MORE PERSONAL THAN KIBAKI OR RAILA - ITS DOWN TO YOU.WILL YOU BE THE WEAPON IN THEIR HANDS THAT WILL preach separatism?while we negotiate our contry is being hijacked - let's unite and redefine ourselves.we are KENYANS.WE ARE PROUD.WE LOVE OUR COUNTRY.SAY NO TO DESTRUCTIVE POLITICS!!ITS DOWN TO EACH OF US.
let us put aside our political views and declare that we as kenyans do not want destructive politics!lets us agree that it is anti kenyan to torch a church full of mainly women & children, matchi a human being based on his ethnicity.
Yes, you can't throw stones on empty stomachs but freedom doesn' come easy, don't u forget. Kenya is not free. It's now or never to see this DICTATORSHIP is over with. We want a legitimate government. How does it feel dealing with a contaminated government for the next 5yrs? A president who has no shame, lying while swearing with a bible in his hands. HELL NO! This wasn't a mature elections, and no Kenya wants your 'HUMBLENESS' since they didn't choose you.
there is nothing here about violence! this simply states the people of kenya were cheated ..by someone who wants their trust! how hypocritical is that??
I am here to speak truth..the people voted, the votes were counted Raila was ahead and then all of a sudden he lost???? this is a new era for africa (a democratic one)and Kibaki just brought them back into the past about 20 years...back to dictatorship!! nice example he is setting! ODM!!!
true...but the prob is that their voices were taken away from them! They were silenced and hushed in a very demeaning manner...that is the issue here, not who won or lost!
advocate for violence??? I have family there. I have friends there. violence is the LAST thing on my mind! what I am speaking for is JUSTICE. A man took into his own hands the future of a country and its people. That is not what democracy is about!!
Which side did Barrack Obama contribute $1 million dollars to, and

A source from inside the country tells me that Odinga is organizing a million man march in the center of Nairobi - in the face of Kibaki and his guns. Any news about this???
5isgrace 4 years ago
yes this march will happen tomorrow!!
kiambas 4 years ago
Marion Jones, Ben Johnson, Justin Gatlin. What do these four have in common? They 'won' Olympic gold medals by cheating through taking performance enhancing drugs.
Once discovered, they were stripped off their 'wins' and medals and punished.
Why should Kibaki be rewarded for stealing and cheating in the election?
bakhoki 4 years ago
exactly! cheaters never prosper!!
kiambas 4 years ago
All those were found to have cheated through the established procedures of discovery, not because some crazies started killing innocent people and destroying property about it. If any lawfully established body decided that Odinga won th presidency, you would be correct to make your claims. Until then, the ECK, which has the sole mandate of declaring who is the president, has declared Kibaki to be the winner. Kenya is a country of laws, not a country of anarchy as ODM would like to make it.

SHAME TO MWAI KIBAKI.
masaa121 4 years ago
wait a minute if i remember raila was leading by a million votes damn how come kibaki got more than one million votes to pass raila while raila just sat there no votes counted on his side does that makes sense hello?? and then kivuitu does this crackin jokes now he wants forgiveness??
got the message haters,
good job kiambas

My heart always yearns for that which is just and true. I am sdden that the voting was rigged...and the true winner of the elections will never be found out. My heart is sick for this country.
Mellomel 4 years ago
Can't sign petition since it requires I believe Kibaki has rigged the election. I don't know. However I am suspicious. I am Ethiopian. In 2005 hundreds died in Ethiopia mostly from Government bullets. The country was left deeply divided and bitter. Major opposition leaders who clearly won election for the assembly were imprisoned. Kenya is a flicker of hope. Please don't go that route.
lamrof 4 years ago
If you deduct the 300,000 votes from kibaki's total, You will have a balance of over 4,000,000 voted for kibaki. Now please explain to our brothers and sisters who the over 4,000,000 voters were.were they not kenyans?what about the almost 1,000,000 who voted for kalonzo Musyoka are they not kenyans also.

i understand that they are angry but how does killing each other and burning the country down help???? so stupid. this is why africa cant develop because of poeple like this. you go out and riot and loot and butcher other ethnic group plus burn the city down.....you damn right you should be shot!. what country would allow this to happen. just because your angry. i mean damn why are you taking out your anger on the infrustractor of your own country? you live in it. go after the government.
huruy 4 years ago
Kibaki and the so called MT.KENYA Mafia definately rigged the elections, according to BBC on Dec. 24th 2007 he appointed 6 new judges to the high court of Kenya.Jan. 1st 2008 Ms Martha Karua Justice and Consitutional Minister tells ODM to use legal chanels to challenge the election results. The Kibaki gov. can not even hold a free and fair election with millions of pple all over the world watching what kind of hearing is ODM going to have in the courts saturated with Kibaki friendly judges!!!!
zawadi2007 4 years ago 2
Free and fair elections are only found in Israel, ask Al Gore.
What we need to understand is that there is a lot of unnecessary bloodshed on the streets and power hungry Raila, should do what's right for the country and concede.
Most of those fighting and looting are career hooligans who are taking advantage of the situation for their own economic benefit. I'm glad President Kibaki has unleashed the Fanya Fujo Uone.

Today you are in the safe side but don't forget that the day will come when you will need justice. better start to work for it now.

this unnessesary bloodshed could have been avoided had kibaki NOT RIGGED THE ELECTIONS! you continue to fail to see where the real injustice is here!!!!!!!!!!!
kiambas 4 years ago
Pure incitement and misrepresentation of facts. Spreading hate and then pointing fingers. Who incited the burning of those innocent souls in church??? Was it not your messiah Odinga with his cheerleaders Ruto and Ntimama?? I can see you have learnt well from your master. May you burn in Hell!!
DBarmasai 4 years ago
I compeletely agree wit u man..there r two sides to every coin..and the sad thing is that in this case the better rigger won!..
if you anything about the elections..which i do..i watched them for 3-4 days non-stop..albeit with alot of drinking involved..you'd know the precious messiah Raila also stole votes..
Plain and simple facts..hard for some to understand, especially when they know nothing of kenyan politics..and its myriad players.

GRAPEVINEDAILY 4 years ago
if someone stole something from you would you sit back and wait 5 years to see it again?
kiambas 4 years ago
kenya does not have the time to sit back and wait five years for things to change! It is crucial to the people of kenya that changes occur immediately! Kibaki had his five years to show kenya, and the world what he can do...he failed. and when the people tried to show him that by voting against him he cried like a small boy and rigged the elections!
kiambas 4 years ago
All politicians are crooked
Fueled by his family's ambitions and his selfish interests, Raila is inciting Kenyans to demonstrate and fight a futile battle to reverse the outcome of the election.
Pres. Kibaki is not a fool; he'd explored this scenario earlier and established the alliances that mattered; just take a look at the action on the streets and you will understand what I mean. Bloodshed!
Odinga should confer with Al Gore and do what is right for the country Concede
GRAPEVINEDAILY 4 years ago
you fucking kikuyu slut, how dare u urge Raila to concede, did we not vote for a choice,
its kibaki to step down not someone to concede
which action?is eldoret massacre not enough 4u?The military cannot guard 34 million people,be realistic

now this all we need now...reconciliation!!...Kenya is bigger than Raila and Kibaki and I believe we know better than slashing peoples throats open or burning churches with people in it...lets spread the LOVE and PEACE we deserve!!..
zuzuwamazuzu 4 years ago
agreed! ppl need to stand back and look at what they are doing to eachother. last week they would have been celebrating christmas in the local bars together, and tonight they threaten each other with their lives....... this is not the kind of behaviour that was supposed to come out of these elections!

IT IS MORE PERSONAL THAN KIBAKI OR RAILA - ITS DOWN TO YOU.WILL YOU BE THE WEAPON IN THEIR HANDS THAT WILL preach separatism?while we negotiate our contry is being hijacked - let's unite and redefine ourselves.we are KENYANS.WE ARE PROUD.WE LOVE OUR COUNTRY.SAY NO TO DESTRUCTIVE POLITICS!!ITS DOWN TO EACH OF US.
kathysdivine 4 years ago
let us put aside our political views and declare that we as kenyans do not want destructive politics!lets us agree that it is anti kenyan to torch a church full of mainly women & children, matchi a human being based on his ethnicity.
kathysdivine 4 years ago

ODM!!!
kiambas 4 years ago
Either way, if Raila took power, the Kikuyus would still be facing the wrath of other tribes.
1jaykam 4 years ago
true...but the prob is that their voices were taken away from them! They were silenced and hushed in a very demeaning manner...that is the issue here, not who won or lost!
kiambas 4 years ago
Irrational people can't use public airwaves to advocate for violence, and God forbid if this turns out to be a genocide.
1jaykam 4 years ago
advocate for violence??? I have family there. I have friends there. violence is the LAST thing on my mind! what I am speaking for is JUSTICE. A man took into his own hands the future of a country and its people. That is not what democracy is about!!
