  • Thank You Alishanmao you have been a great inspiration to me, I am subscribed to you channel it is well worth it. Your attitude is awesome keep up the great work....Joe Connick

  • You should always give full power according to front wind !

  • I want to buy this plane, but one question to you - where do you buy the Floats for this plane?

i can`t find this plane as RTF Model with the floats included.

  • @CologneRob check with local suppliers

  • What is the Length of the floats

  • what propeller do You use?

  • Which country are you living in?

  • who much was that plane

  • with such a light plane, i find it easier to land with the wind instead of into it, because it doesn't turn so drastically if gusted. Bit faster landing though

  • is that a river of dogshit?

  • @crimplemania nops, Chinese Shit lol hehehehe

  • Hi, I liked your video so much I just bought the model! Would really help to know where you set your centre of gravity. I believe float planes need to be a bit nose heavy? Regards, Paul, UK

  • @jpaulgood after you add floats, yes keep it a bit nose heavy by adding weights. I totally forgot where was the center of gravity :(

  • @alishanmao thanks. You put weight in the nose? Don't suppose you remember how much? Regards, Paul

  • Get a moderately powerfl boat and some floating chord, tie it on the back and sail it round the plane to get it back.

  • nice video, the wind is strong so may be a bit difficult to such a light weight but relatively big size foam plane

    good luch and enjoy

  • Crosswinds had nothnig to do with it.

Try landing wth more speed and flare it in just like any other full size or model aircraft. You had plenty of life in your batteries so fly it down onto the water dont glide it.

You were lucky the second time.

  • THX good advice you have for me, this will be my next plane for this seasons.

    Saludos desde México.

  • you know the wing rod is glued under the wing?

  • i know but that piece that holds the rod, comes out of fuselage foam

  • Ok but should I fly with and take care fluctuates?, To buy carbon fiber should I glue it to the wing?

  • Fly it carefully. straight smooth flights. Carbon fiber rods or bars you can just glue on top of wings where main wings flexes more

  • Hey how good advice you have for me to get a good flight I have exactly the same plane

  • Strengthen the main wing by putting some carbon fiber or any good light weight plastic bars. Make sure struts are tight and firm, and that strut holder is well glued in the foam fuselage. Do not go for sudden elevator changes or quick turns. try to fly is straight and smooth. :)

  • Again, for foam repairs use white wood glue... cheap, easy to use, available everywhere and strong!

Glue and press the parts together, tape them into position, wait 24 hours, and there you go, all fixed!

    Tks for the vid!

  • Your Cessna is very gorgeous. What kind of a battery you do use and how long flight time you do get?

  • 14.8v lipoly flies around 8 minutes.

  • where can you get one. needs a v-strut support. once again great video.

  • thanks,. contact the site shown in the video. ask for jessy.

  • Hi Ali!, My Cessna is almost finished, after many modifications, I put a new spinner and an APC prop. 10x6 2bl. Wich size of APC where you using here?

  • I was using a GWS 3 blade forgot the size I think it was 10x6

  • hey ali is there a plane that can handle medium - high winds and fly in a semi small area? have the easy star and it gets pushed around so much. id like something with power and 4 ch.

  • Go for Pitts S2A Electric. That is a cool plane. after modifications, you can hold it vertical nose up n full throttle let it go straight up. need very little place for landing too ;)

  • u should try using some epoxy glue on the struts instead of tape might just work!

  • I used both actually :D

  • I don't us epoxy anymore (for foam on foam). it does not bind to the foam (twist/bend and the 2 parts split right at the epoxy-foam seam). Loctite Sumo Glue. It expands and melds (not melt) with the foam. Nothings beats it.. Though you do have to tape over the seams so the glue does not expand out of the seams but into the foam while it dries, I use a air blower to heat up the tape and remove it when done. I tested 6 kinds of different types of glue. Dont know for longetivity though.

  • Good tip. Will look for the mentioned glue. Thanks mate

  • Been looking for a decent size scale foamy for float flying. Looks like this thing fits the bill. It is a beauty.

  • Yes but you need to modify it and strengthen the main wing n strut bars else you will get a crash on first flight.

  • Lots of work on it, Ali!! Is the wing really ont enough tight without carbon rods? Can yo show me where you are taking this vids on google earth? I will show you my place also, for the next cessna flight on a Swiss lake!

  • hmm contact me on alishanmao at gmail com and I will send you google earth cordinates

  • nice flying video. thank you Ali

  • Always welcome EDO Model. The F4 Phantom Rocks and is one of my favorite EDF Jet.

  • What editor(s) do you use?

  • This video was edited in Ulead VIdeo Studio 10. Cheers. but now i use a much more powerful editor ;)

  • Yes a success flight, but man is that a big bird,Ali off the subject what editing software do you use mate as the new one i have i don't like it that much,5*

  • mate I used many new ones. I recently tried the one of the best top of the list Macromedia Director Ultra 7 too. Damn its full of awesome effects n functions. Check out the hunter flight videos, but I can tell you, I still love my old one, Ulead Video Studio, so I will get back to Ulead Video Studio 10 now :)

  • What model is that ?

    Is it an ARF ?

    I would like one.

  • Cessna 182 Skylane 50 size foamy (thats something man, 50 size foamy) check out the web n if you need contact info, email me.

  • Who makes it ? is what I should have asked. - There's a lot of Cessna 182's out there.

  • check the website that I mentioned in the video CHeers

  • Very nice video. I especially liked the landing!

  • Thanks, it was messed up though due to crosswind, but I did bring the plane in very smooth :D. Cheers n thanks mate

  • Nice! Man, I almost thought it was going to tip over on that first attempt and then again on landing. Nice flight.

  • thanks. Yeah man this one is too light, n day was windy enough for this.

  • great to see it back on the water!

  • yup, and we have a boat to rescue it anytime :D
