Theese guys put profetional and colledge athleetes to shame im a high school guy and most of my friends hero"s are pro's like lebron or farve but they will never have as much heart as the special olypians have theese guys are my hero's and i wish i could have 1/2 as much heart as they do
i clicked on this video becasue i thought i was going to have a laugh but this is actually very touching. this is very touching and the teamwork and good sportsmnship in this video is very, very, very amazing. truley inspiring.
You guys not only rock, but have more courage than I will ever have. I salute everyone of you. You are my inspiration to GO, DO, ACCOMPLISH, NO EXCUSES...BE WHO YOU WERE BORN TO BE....AWESOME. Thank you all! I love your Spirit...YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!
I liked the girl doing the ribbon dancing. But altogether, a nice tribute to the Special Olympics. So many people can't see past the disabilities and see the same triumph and jubilation that they see from professional athletes.
Aha, I recognized some of the athletes in this video.
I wasn't at this specific games; that cycle I had only qualified for softball which was being held separately from the provincial games proper at the time.
screw looking up to the famous i look up to these people because they go to show you that no matter what if you put your mind to something you want to do you can achieve anything
most of these guys probably dont want you to feel sorry for them. they probably just wanna be just as normal as everyone else and they show how they can be here.
@TheMVDP, but the fact that these people are in the Special Olympics rather than the regular Olympics shows that they AREN'T as normal as everyone else. Further, others will feel sorry for them regardless of whether they want it or not.
i thing the special o is great i have daughter that is 8 and has autisum and she lived with her mother and she came to live with me two years ago she was 6 and still in daipers didnt talk or feed her self and i felt that this would be her live for ever last year we sigen up for special oh and she signed the word daddy and just made me cry now i know there is help for her she loves it when we pull up to a game she ready to jump out the car she has a life now .
Videos like these really make me more determined to work at one of the Special Olympic games. I'd love to get chance to work with the athletes and experience what it's like to be there in person.
I dont see why they dont let them compete in the real olypics I mean look the guy in 1.11 he's in olypic shape AND he's deff in better shape than me lol i bet if just one could do it theyd let em all
After suffering two severe head injuries as a teenager I gained a much greater appreciation for what the challenged endure on a daily basis. I applaud them all of these athletes for their accomplishments and wish I could shake each of their hands for their successes.
I think these gives them the chance to have a lot of fun with the other people. They r so determined more then regular people. They have so much fun that they dont care if they win or lose they just love having fun with everyone else.
this makes me cry in happiness.. i wish i could be so determined like they are.. this is like a dream come true for them. it makes me feel good to know that they d these kind of things in the world for these absolutley adorable kids.. to me there normal with extra abilities.. this video make me cry in the first minute.. god bless those kids. =]]
if you are not lying then your the best. the olimpics for people with disabilites gives them a change. You are helping them full fill thier dreams. Thank you
wow, that video just bring up a smile on my face (not that I think this is funny, just I'm so glad that people with disabilities can participate in activities too...this just makes me feel warm in my heart)
i also forgot to mention a few weeks ago, i was there at those game but they didnt want to film the 10 pin bowlers cuz we had to bowl in another town( we stayed at CFB Comox) but bowled in another town*forget where though*
before i saw this i typed this in to laugh......=[ but now after this video i cried. it inspired me to realize that they push 23123412412 times harder then we do. i realized that this isnt funny thanks for chaningg my life person who made this vvideo =]
Ok, in the beginning of the vid when it shows the guy in red getting ready to do the benchpress is actually one of my teammates, hes been in powerlifting a lot longer then i have but he says I have come a long ways since joining powerlifting. I can benchpress 100 pounds and deadlift 235 1/2 pounds which is waaaaaaaaay more then what I weigh.
i just love all those kids that have to deal with all the tourment they go through but they all ways preval. all of those kids and adults with disabiltes are nice and kind, warm hearted and loving. i support them 50000000% of the way. awsome video
