barrel was nickel plated and the slide isnt either its just a polished glock look around on the internet there are tons of places that polish metal and its really not that hard yourself, but you wont get perfect gunsmith results, barrels arent hard either just look around online.

I was the very first owner of that Glock 19. That was at one time an original solid black factory Glock slide befor I had the work done.I have to say Gene Shuey does a great job as a gunsmith and is well worth the money. But be ready to wait about three to four months on any slide job guys. After getting the slide done I never wanted to shoot the fucking thing. So in a way it was a waist of money when I look back on it. I later sold it to my buddy here who then sold it himself.

You should get the chrome rear plate and chrome extractor from Lone Wolf Distributing. Then you could also get the chrome pin kit, magazine release, and extended slide release. That gun by the way looks great. I have been thinking of getting mine done also.
