Can I Please Ask You Something Can This Hijab Style Be Done With Glasses?? But Overall It Is A Very Good Tutorial By You I Am Sure That Many People Are Going To Be fond On Wearing A Hijab :) Jazakhalla ;)
I've watch video on hijab, and i noticed most of them add extra bun on their hair to create volume. I bet they are ignorant abt the hadith. Or perhaps they thought they looked more attractive with hump on their head. Wear a simple hijab according to the sunnah is more practical then making them more trendy b'cos u will waste a lot of time tying them up.
Salam Amenakin, I like ur vids, I'm still learning how to hijabs so u'v been very helpful, I bought a couple of ur hoojab's too, love them.

i loved how you did the whole explanation abou not having the hump lol but then you went n spoiled it all by tellin girls with thick long hair to go n get there hair cut to solve the hump problem...flop:(
Salaam sister. This style reminds me of Andaluz style. It may be because of the lace... I love it... Sisters should look beautiful stylish yet modest... Women are the visual representation of Islam.
@3215murph I guess fashion is really subjective then :) I know a sister who wore it like that and ended up with neck problems, which she insisted wasn't due to her hijab but then her doctor told her to not wear it like that xD lmao the poor chick
i read it in a book (The commandments of the Prophet for Girls).and the hadis says; (There are two types of people did not fire Oarhama, people with whips like the tails of cattle with which to beat people, and women who are clothed yet naked, walking gait, their heads like the humps of oblique, will not enter Paradise or even smell its fragrance, although its fragrance to be found of such and such.)
Oh my goodness, the camel hump is quite in fashion... it looks soooo bad xD Looks like they have Alien heads, I wish I could stick this hadith around college haha.
Salam Amena, this is a beautiful tutorial, really helps me understand the idea of a "camels hump" and for further refrence, you're videos are NEVER too long! Persoanlly i see it as gaining knowledge in two ways, about Islam, general and practcial knowledge. SO CONTINUE DOING THIIS, ITS AMAZING STUFF! KEEP IT UP SIS :) xxx
sis dont you get really hot wearing so many layer scarves?
i always just do one i cant even wear a undercap because i always feel uncomfortable. Did you feel the same way when you first started out wearing hijab?
Salam Amena- had to comment about the camel hump! Last summer we went on a summer holiday to an Arab state- thought we'd switch it up a bit:-)!And we saw SO MANY arab women with 'camel humps' (sad stuff) and my elder brother said EXACTLY the same thing as your husband: 'What the hell are they doing with their scarves, they look like ALIENS!'- (so it seems guys REALLY don't like it :oP)
Asalamu alaykum sis. I really love this style but MashaAllah you make it look easy! I've been trying to do it for an hour and I can't get it right! Anyway InshaAllah take care, love your clips.

Loved this tutorial! its so cute! I have a question about pearl daisy. On your old website there was this section for scarves on clearance do you have that on your new website and if you do where is it? Thank you! :)
salaam sister, i realy love your hoojab styles and learn loads from them, ive watched every single one and they have been very beneficial alhamdulilah.
Just to say you're doing a fantastic job :D. I wanted to request a style using a hajmina with folds......Jazakallah
Nice video Amena, glad you saw what i was saying was true after all....you see hun i did check my facts as you clearly have done now... anyway well done and i thank Allah Ta'lah that i made someone one see some truth in the camel humps...
Salaams, Been trying to buy hijabs from your website. but it seems still under constructions. when it will be up and running again? totally desperate for hoojabs. luv your tutorials. jazakaalah.
actually ive seen a lot of arab girls wearing their hijab and their is a hump on the top of their actual heads,, its how they style their hair before putting on hijab, i watched ur vids and their fine.. none of ur vids resemble a camels hump.. cos when i saw those arab girls i realised what that hadith meant..
Hmmm...do you think this would look good with two different colored scarves?? I'm going to have to play around tonight, I'm liking the look of 2 different scarves draped together, but couldn't figure out how to do it. I think this might work for it.
I had this explained by a Sheikh when I attended an Al Kauthar course recently.
I was informed that - The hadith was not referring to hijabs or how hijabs are worn in this age. But instead it refers to the hair.as the hadith mentions " women will appear naked in spite being dressed and will have their hair high like humps of bukht camel". Also explained further by the Shiekh is that the hadith refers to those "the hair of women who appear naked inspite being dressed".so ladies, its not the hijab

Hey, does this ever happen to you? After wearing your scarf all day long, when you take it off does your hair stay flat? I hate that, how do you deal with it, if you have this problem?
Asalamu alkum from USA Amenakin I am have the hardest time trying to syle my hijab like the way the egyptians wore there head wrappings back in Cleopatra'a day I saw a sister on hajj and it was so pretty she tried to show me how but of couse that was a couple of years ago she had on a black turtle neck to cove her neck I can send you a drawing inshallah so can you try and style something like that inshallah you are so talented and it is great that you give some history that is great Shukran
@sufyanah Wa 'alaikum as-salaam, sister... sure you can show me! Just send me a private message on here and i'A I will try to have a look at your pic!
salaam sis. Thankyou for the great video... I love this style. I have a request can you please show us a style which wraps nice and tightly as my baby keeps pulling my hijab when carrying him and ruins the whole look.. :-)
@ashafayat Wa 'alaikum as-salaam, sister! If you check out the 'hijab tutorials' folder on my main channel, you'll find quite a few tighter hijab styles. I know how you feel about the hijab-grabbing baby - mine did that when he was very young!
salaminaleyküm Although it is beautiful this style hijabs but when women work or perform their prayers, they do not have as much time this is very cumbersome and very time-generally, the more so with two scarves so for my the time very-consuming to ... :-(
LOL @ alien head...thats the exact impression i get when i see other hijabis at university with the camel look going on, your spot on, its attracts alot of attention
Salam sister Amena. I was wondering if you could do a hijab style that more of the face is covered, like the forehead, the chin and the sides of the cheeks.
I pull my hijab like that as I don't really like my face but I would like to do it in a more fashionable way insha'allah :)
Hope you are in good health and iman insha'allah x
Aw sis you've lost weight you look so tiny! and thank you for making this video and clarifying the issue on humps I totally agree there is something unnatural about putting a massive amount of volume at the top of your head (no offence to anyone who does it) but personally I never liked it plus I've got a big head and lots of hair lol so that automatically equals volume anyway haha =] I loved how you used the lace hijabs and the classic folds which your tutorial don't seem complete without ;o)
@Noor2388 haha thanks Noor. Yeh, I think even if it's not FOR the guys, the fact that um 50% of the population would find it odd-looking is reason enough to think twice!
Your working 2 hard?!! You've lost weight! Love this tutorial! I do the same hairstyle as you.. 'cause my hairs so long (but thin :( ) I find that when i do the normal bun it becomes a lil hump lol
ouh my gosh amena. my topic for my school/ artwork/ theory that i'm doing now is about Islam. the only difference from what u are talking about is that, mine, i'm doing about figurative art/ painting in Islam.
I am looking into this deeply and hope u can help me.
@missypursharple wow, sounds like a really interesting topic! You could look at traditional persian art, and the symmetry found it Islamic architecture etc. Sounds like a fun project!
Wow I just watched your video for hijab styles...but I'm glad I learned something new..I always knew the "hump" looked silly but I never knew how wrong it was...thanks for that
@Amenakin Ya me too, I've also missed you. You're the best channel every seen, you really encoure us to be pure, modest and good muslims Inch'allah..You're gorgeous! Thank you for the tutorial and the message on the hadith, we're always learning about Islam.
i love ur videos n m kidda addicted to them i myself try to wrap my hijab in creative ways all the time i m from pakistan ... n i never come to know hoe old u vedio is anyho ... i like u so much .. n this is my very first comment on any of youtube vedio do reply ....
Salaam sis, so very nice to see you again. Thank you for explaining the Hump because I was very confused about if were allowed or not. I really like the Turkish hajib style but it usually has a hump at the back. Would you show us how to maybe wrap a Turkish hajib with sis Amena twist added to it:) so it does not have a hump. Thanks again sis.
Salaam sister :) I have a question about the underscarf that you're wearing.. is it one of the ones that are closed in the back? Or is it one of the string underscarves (or the tubes ones) that are open in the back and the ponytail/bun isn't covered..? Please respond! Thank you! I've been waiting for an all-lace tutorial and you delivered so nicely, MashAllah! :D

I hate that, how do you deal with it, if you have this problem?

salaam sis. Thankyou for the great video... I love this style. I have a request can you please show us a style which wraps nice and tightly as my baby keeps pulling my hijab when carrying him and ruins the whole look.. :-)
ashafayat 1 year ago 4
@ashafayat Wa 'alaikum as-salaam, sister! If you check out the 'hijab tutorials' folder on my main channel, you'll find quite a few tighter hijab styles. I know how you feel about the hijab-grabbing baby - mine did that when he was very young!

I never knew about the hadith about camel humps, it does make sense, coz as ur husband thinks, women look like aliens with it!! :D
I'm not so much into lace hijabs, though I loved the way u layered it!

salaminaleyküm Although it is beautiful this style hijabs but when women work or perform their prayers, they do not have as much time this is very cumbersome and very time-generally, the more so with two scarves so for my the time very-consuming to ... :-(

Aw sis you've lost weight you look so tiny! and thank you for making this video and clarifying the issue on humps I totally agree there is something unnatural about putting a massive amount of volume at the top of your head (no offence to anyone who does it) but personally I never liked it plus I've got a big head and lots of hair lol so that automatically equals volume anyway haha =] I loved how you used the lace hijabs and the classic folds which your tutorial don't seem complete without ;o)
shimi08 1 year ago 2
@shimi08 lol had to make it "complete" with the folds haha. You're lucky to have lots of hair, m'A

Great tutorial and a great way to clarify about the hadith.
i don't know why girls do it, i even heard from guys once or twice how they HATE it (that is if a girl thinks it makes her more pretty for the guys).
anyhoo, i love when i pair two hijabs only for the sake of the volume.
and you my friend are a volume and folds QUEEN :)
Noor2388 1 year ago
@Noor2388 haha thanks Noor. Yeh, I think even if it's not FOR the guys, the fact that um 50% of the population would find it odd-looking is reason enough to think twice!

Your working 2 hard?!! You've lost weight! Love this tutorial! I do the same hairstyle as you.. 'cause my hairs so long (but thin :( ) I find that when i do the normal bun it becomes a lil hump lol

@dipa786 A lil hump is ok, especially if its with your own hair, it does tend to look natural when it's with your own hair :o)

ouh my gosh amena. my topic for my school/ artwork/ theory that i'm doing now is about Islam. the only difference from what u are talking about is that, mine, i'm doing about figurative art/ painting in Islam.
