When I was a teenager, the Lennon sisters were also in their teens just starting out on their career with Lawrence Welk. I had a real crush on them. They were and still are the best. Long live the Lennons.
I used to work with a woman that loved this song. She said that was one of the popular songs when she was young in the 1940s. Her name was Margaret and she passed away two weeks ago, she was 89 years old, a really sweet lady. I will always remember Margaret and this song, sang wonderfully from the Lennon sisters.

I wish I could remember the 1960s, I would have watched these wonderful sounding sisters every week on Lawrence Welk.
