Great vid, I love underwater footage, to see how fish respond to bait and rigs. But what was wrong with the carp? Some of them had horrible growths on them.
It seems to be the liquidised boilie in the stick that draws them in. I dont get the same response with boilies in a bag. Interesting you should say "tipped with pop up neutrally boyant" I experimented with these and videod it. I will be putting these videos on here over the next few days when I get some time.
Just a small pva stick mix and you get that many carp interested, you would never think when behind your rods waiting for something to happen you could half a dozen carp all over your bait, i think if you had used a bottom bait you would of had much more success, or even a bottom bait tipped with a pop up to make it neutrally bouyant.
Great to see underwater footage though, great vid :)
They're well educated fish; this wouldn't happen in Oz! I see in several of your vids how the carp check out popped-up rigs with their pecs... clever!!!

just like using a chod over particle or bottom baits! just does not work. or a chod in the shallows for that matter. good video.

Cool footage. It shows again that using a pop-up in combination with bottom bait is just not terribly optimal...
