@durtmagert I'm not so sure that it was weak as much as he was, I feel, creating a "lighter" atmosphere. Brings it down a notch to really emphasize the backing groove. But then again maybe I'm misreading it and he might not have had the feel as comfortably locked down as he wanted. If that thats the case I still think he did a fine job of playing it safely but still maintaining a tasteful sound.
