Leverage can work for you thought too like in forex; if you buy at a point of support that's likely to hold and use a close stop loss, than it is worth taking on leverage because if it goes against you you lose a small amount of money and if it goes in your favor you make 5 to 10 times as much so the risk reward ratio makes it worthwhile. Leverage is not always a bad thing.
