I haven't done anything but love art also and if it means having to get another starving artist it's props in the after life from protecting the art they made then so be it!!! It's one of my art forms... And my right too as an artist!!!
@cuillerecapricorn your obviously around so much art. Lol one doesn't need to paint to be an artist now days to prove such relavents! Keep updated.... Lol as you must be!! As what has been said to @rausis the same goes anyone else that harrasses me... Noted to DMCA COMPLAINTS.
. @rausis I have written to the DMCA complaints and have your post inbox with your tag name attached to this very video as proof that you are harassing me. Sent five months ago due to you tagging my name to it.
First of all @jameskalm you obviously have some vein in your body that appreciates art enough to know the curator.. So at the time at least was given permission to have gotten this all on film.
Ok, so if I live in the area he went to school/taught, what are the chances I might run into one of his pieces. 1 in a million? lol. Still, I keep looking ha ha.
Thank you so much for showing the Clyfford Still show. For those of us not able to see it you offer us the next best thing. I also really enjoy your insight into the work. Keep it up. I look forward to where you will go next.
you should be more careful. I am surprised that someone in security that is working there didn't stop you from filming. Its things like this that make it hard for an institution to get proper funding when people like you show things like this for FREE..... Shame on you!
With all due respect, this was recorded with the full knowledge of the Museum curator. I was even accompanied by a docent from the Director's office. If you knew the workings of museum funding you would know that free publicity is a valuable commodity and can only help increase admissions. Not to mention Freedom of the Press.
At least you weren't afraid to say your name here in the video. I work there and I came to see if the Security Department wasn't joking that someone wasn't STOPPED at video taping that gallery.... Docent huh?... hmmm?? ok... So you have written consent to have filmed it?
let me recommend a couple of other videos from this channel: "Karen Kilimnik (No Photos Allowed)" and "2008 WHITNEY BIENNIAL Busted".
In the meantime maybe you should pursue a job with the STACI or the KGB. Your totalitarian impulses seem more suited for that line of work rather that dealing with things in the art world.
Wonderful! Thank you so much for making these video's and posting them- all the best- Mark (Melbourne. Australia)

Any news on the Still estate (more than 2000 works!!!) and the projected Still museum that was supposed to open in 2010 in Denver?
claureic 1 year ago
As far as I know it's still in progress, just behind schedule.

@claureic mr Still was very 'difficult', i've heard first hand tales from dealers. The delay doesn't surprise me :)

Clyfford Still is laughing at you as we speak. Maybe you should quit working at the museum and start painting. Good luck.
