teekyhe, I was wrong about the weights. I got suspicious when I saw the bars bouncing around 2 -3 times when they were dropped so I magnified the writing on the plates 150% so I c ould read it. They are rubber plates made in Germany by the Kraiburg company and are made in weights of 5, 10, 15, 25, 35, and 45 pounds. I now think some of those thinner plates are 5 lbs & it's hard to tell just how much they are really lifting. I no longer believe she's pressing 135 lb or push pressing over 150 lb
Thanks for the comments & inquiries. The "girl in brown" is Ms. Eva T. & she's an "O" lifting champ. In her warm up she pressed 95lbs with a 45lb bar and two 25lb plates. Later, your right in that she's not lifting 135lbs. Rather she's lifting 137lbs with the same 45lb bar, two 25lb plates, two 10lb plates, and the two outer plates on the end that "look" smaller are actually 5kg each or ll lbs each. Yes she is very strong, and a very cool gal all the way around. Happy you enjoyed the video! ;-)
If Eva is push pressing 137 lbs she is a very strong girl. Can you tell me what her boody wt. is? BTW, I was a former Olympic Lifter when I was in ther Navy. We did three lifts in those days, the clean & press, the Snatch and theClean & jerk. The clean & press was eliminated from Olympic lifting in 1972. The Russian Vasily Alexeev set the world record for the the clean & press that year at 520 lbs. and a clean & jerk of 670 lbs
Well ,thanks all the same these women are very strong. Is there such a thing as a female muscle detective you certainly qualify lol. Thanks again for your comments
teekyhe. A female muscle detective? No, but I am a former Olympic Weight Lifter and I was a bit suspicious at what looked like a lot of weight these girls were lifting & decided to look into it. There are however women in the Olympics today who can clean & jerk over 300 lbs, much more than I could do back in the 60's &70's. But the girls in this video do have excellent form and it's nice to see them involved in the sport.
In the first lift the girl in brown was pressing 135 lbs but on the second lifts she did where there were 3 plates the middle plates were 45 lbs each. I don't know how much the outside and inside plates were but sice they were thinner they had to be less than the 45 lb plates. She was probably doing over 235 lbs and is a very strong girl. Nice ass too, one I'd like to hold on too.
No, I'm not certain because I've never seen those thin plates she had on the inside and outside but the large thicker plate in the middle is a 45 lb plate. The way she easily pressed the 135 lbs I think she might be able to push press around 230. She has excellent form. When I was 19 y/o I would press 135lbs for 10 reps for my warm up and I could clean and jerk or push press 235 lbs. She didn't clean the weight but took it off a squat rack which is a little easier. But she is very strong.
A very respectable "booty shake" @ 1:56 with great form, might i add.

This is for p1q0, all the people in this video are fit or trying to get fit and shouldn't be called jokers.

What's the address?

Please. You just have to look at these jokers to realize there is no way they are lifting real weight. Who knows what they are actually lifting.

I know exactly how much they are lifting. Come and visit us any time you like at CrossFit Santa Cruz Central and you will see the joke is on you.

Hi are you certain about the 235lbs weight. That seems to much?
